The limited edition box looks amazing next to the Season 1 limited edition, the behind the scenes book gives interesting insight into the making of the movie, I love the soundtrack CD inclusion, and the inner case artwork is also worth mentioning as it is also stunning to look at. Now while Aniplex of America have released the film on Blu-ray, the story arc did eventually get compiled into a television version that was followed up by the Entertainment District arc. In the UK, Funimation UK distributed the film for theatrical and unfortunately acquired the home video rights so rather than Anime Limited tackling the franchise it’s been handed over to Funimation’s UK branch. If I had to guess, it's probably less about money and more to do with Sony retaining a period of exclusivity for CR. This Tokyo stage from February was the first time that all the voice actors for the demons of Demon Slayer anime have come together. The Entertainment District Arc took 5 months after the Japanese Blu-rays were completed before it saw a North American release.Includes episodes 1-13 with both English and original Japanese with English subtitles viewing options over 3 Blu-ray discs. It was still a decent arc overall with a good finish, but I felt like it could have been condensed into a movie similar to Mugen Train. The English dubbed version of the special preview videos at the end of each episode are also only availalbe on the Blu-ray. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Volume 1 Limited Edition contains episodes 1-13 of the anime directed by Haruo Sotozaki and is housed in an Art Box which contains a Special Booklet featuring character art and scene designs along with staff commentaries, Illustration Card Set, and 3-CD Soundtrack.
