The Kamodo Joe Charcoal Grill is regarded as a direct competitor to the famous Big Green Egg. Heat dispersal felt uniform and, since this is a gas-powered barbecue, cooking with the lid down is an option – this isn’t always the case with charcoal-based options.
The only thing to really let the X200 Grill2Go down is just how difficult it is to clean after the fact. And when it comes to barbecues, that’s a big deal. The cover helps to protect your barbecue from the weather and from dirt and debris, and it is a great way to protect your new Charbroil BBQ either during the winter months when not in use, or at the end of the day while still being left outside. I think that the problem will be that, as the small cylinders do not have a regulator, your CharBroil is designed to operate from a high unregulated gas pressure; the gas jets will be small to allow for this. If you operate from a lower pressure regulated (large) cylinder, not enough gas will come through the small jets. Also, butane is less volatile than propane, especially at low temperatures, but the main issue I think is that you are trying to operate an appliance designed to work from an unregulated cylinder via a regulator.
