I think a helper would be great to make sure the camera stays in focus while the camera is set on the continuous auto focus setting. I think a helper would be cool just to be able to have a ladder and stand up to show in context how much further your belly measurements are over your height. Plus if you have someone helping you have their reaction as well as yours so there is more discussion to the reactions. I have had personal experience filming videos where the camera went out of focus while being set on the continuous autofocus camera setting and I never caught it till after filming. It’s not fun seeing when you missed it or had to shoot a video a few times when it was done already the first time.
