I found that with some foods, like coated foods, it was better to put one of those little foil dishes at the bottom of the main basket. If you buy some round ones you might have to just cut the lip off the foil container for it to fit but it does stop food dripping into the bowl. Sadly the metal basket is just a little smaller than standard kitchen metal dishes. The capacity of the basket at 3.2L is ok and enough if you are cooking for two or three. You would need to keep taken them out and shaking them to ensure that they are evenly cooked!
