About this deal
Unusually the White Consuls have two Chapter Masters; one oversees the defences of the Chapter's home world of Sabatine and commands a standing force ready at a moment’s notice to respond to Chaos incursions through the Cadian Gate, and the other is responsible for the operations of the Chapter's forces in war zones further afield. It is doubtful that this is sanctioned by any entry in the Codex Astartes, and the reason it has never been challenged is the Chapter's homeworld's distance from Ultramar. [6] Also unusually the White Consuls seem to worship the Emperor as a god and seem to be part of the Imperial Cult, unlike most other Astartes Chapters. [5c]
The White Consuls maintain sovereignty over several nearby systems, and the chapter officers are expected to oversee the administration of each world before advancing to a higher rank. As such, these officers are often found in command of local troops. This is considered as a smaller version of the Ultramarines' practices within Ultramar. [6] One of these was the Boros System, which they ruled from the star fort Kronos (the largest space station in Segmentum Obscurus), until the entire system was corrupted and the star fort destroyed by the dark crusade of the Word Bearers and the subsequent invasion of the Necrons, under the Undying One. Proconsul Cassius Ostorius& Coadjutor Gaius Aquilius seemed to be the only two Astartes involved with the governorship, however. [5a]

Guilliman apparently also briefly thought about mixed geneline chapters, but dismissed the Idea as being to radical a change. He still wants the Primaris Marines in the Unnumbered Sons to be deployed in mixed groups whenever possible though, to strengthen the relationship between the Genelines and make optimal use of their respective Specialisations. The end is finally here. The culmination of the Siege of Terra and the Horus Heresy series begins with Dan Abnett’s The End and the Death Volume I. Horus has left the Emperor with no way out, and now Terra’s final days are at hand… One important subplot of the Book is a low-level scribe trying to get a important message to Imperial High Command, that message is the one ultimately alerting Guilliman to the Pariah-Nexus
If the Devastator Doctrine was active for your army during the previous battle round, you can change it so that the Tactical Doctrine is now active. its is mentioned several times that for the first few moments of true battle, the Primaris seem to react allmost robotically, on pure instinct. They aren't consciously making decisions, just following the training the Hypno-Indoctrination put into them. Only after the first engagement are they starting to actually be directly in control

The Detachment rule for the Gladius Task Force is Combat Doctrines , which gives players the choice of three powerful disciplines to focus on at the start of their Command phase . These can really turn the tide at a critical moment. Each of these Combat Doctrines only works once per battle, so choose wisely – combined with the Oath of Moment that all Space Marine armies get, you can rally and unleash a hellacious strike on dangerous foes at the critical moment. Sudden decapitating strikes are a Space Marine speciality, and they’re now so good at it that your opponent won’t even have time to ask how your Terminators got so far up in his grill. Unit Spotlight
