About this deal

Created to fit upon a wall thickness of up to 70mm at maximum, this product has a dual-flush design that is easily operated via finger action.

Trimming the serated bars takes a bit of time; make sure you don't take too much off when you're fitting them or the buttons won't be level at the top. These ratchet bars can be cut to size to suit the height of the cistern The body has an outside diameter of 48mm and is 35mm deep. This was a fairly bog standard repair and I was a little flushed once I'd finished but I can't pan the product. Unfortunately although of similar quality it wouldn't fit due to the push rod's being a different size (too long). This appears to be a genuine part, in an Ideal standard/Armitage Shanks bag, so it's not that it's a cheap knock-off (it seems), but it's just a rubbish design in general.

Unbranded Dual flush Button designed for many ranges of Ideal Standard and Armitage Shanks cisterns fitted with the ‘SV’ flush valve. I looked and looked just for the chrome push button cap and couldn't find any that are sold separately. The Armitage Shanks Small Dual Flush Finger Push Button is manufactured from strong chrome plates metal and is ideal for installation with concealed cisterns. This product is a push button for dual flush Armitage Shanks toilet models from the Ideal Standard brand, and has the MPN: EV344AA and the GTIN: 791429130651. Two part valve with bayonet type release allows removal to replace seal with out the need to disconnect cistern.

Brought this to replace another 'branded' plastic one that was far worse quality and had broken in multiple places. The whole thing is just not really strong enough to be able to operate in the way it's supposed to, if the syphon is a bit old (which it probably will be if you've got the point of replacing the button), then it'll take a little more effort than originally to flush and the button starts to get out of shape. Only reason for dropping a star is the difficult to cut rods and that the buttons are difficult to clip on (and not the easiest to take off once they're on). Trading Depot advises strongly against booking Tradesmen until after goods are safely received and checked for this exact reason. For those saying the instructions are poor I would suggest looking at how the old one came apart (it's usually a good indicator of how the new one goes together) and there is also a YouTube video by armitage shanks that shows how it goes together. The button features two metal elements, allowing for variable levels of flush as desired by the user. That said, if you already have this type installed then it's going to be a lot easier to replace a broken button than have to have t he cistern off and replace the flush unit as a whole. our operatives are all experienced within the industry and are more than happy to help with any questions. It would have been nice to have the other two as spares as these are the ''weakest link'' with these type of products. The button features two metal elements, allowing for variable levels of the flush as desired by the user. As you would expect from a leading brand such as Ideal Standard items, manufactured to the highest standards and is sure to add style and substance to your bathroom.
