What an achievement! You've completed Animal Crossing Puzzle League Story Mode! The hard part is over! Now you get to relax with your new fruit-panel cushion! Special moves can be used by pressing the Y button or touching the icon on the touchscreen after it has been filled up. These special moves have various effects and only by scanning an amiibo will the player be able to use a different one. Only model-based amiibo other than the Villager from the Animal Crossing series are compatible with this minigame. In story mode, the player's objective is to gain the complete approval of the villagers by obtaining 100% support through clearing lines of panels. During each encounter with an opponent, except the last one, the player must finish three preliminary stages to gather up support from the villagers before the final match. After that, the match with the opponent begins with the amount of support the player was able to obtain. Each opponent after the first one has different rules, which are stated before the match begins, and only by following them will the player be able to gather support and/or clear the match. There are a total of 7 opponents, which are a mix of special NPCs and villagers that are currently living in the player's town. If you see other fish shadows other than the size you are specifically looking for, scare them away by running near them, hitting the water with your net, or pole vaulting near them. When you scare away a fish, it causes a new one to generate somewhere else. Learn to wish on shooting stars Additionally, for 10 days, leaves will turn red and Maple Leaves will fall around your island, which you can catch to craft Maple-Leaf items. There are three KK songs that are not sold in the catagol and KK won't play for you unless you request them by name. When KK comes for a concert you can type in the name of a song to request. To hear the hidden songs and get a copy of the album after the concert type in "Drivin'", "Animal City", or "Farewell". Invite strangers to visit your island The hardest recipes to get are for wreaths and crowns made out of flowers. There are a lot of the recipes so you will get them sometimes, but it is very difficult to collect all of them. If you find a villager crafting a flower wreath or crown, invite your friends to your island so they can get a copy of the recipe too. Limit your island to just seven hardwood and cedar trees By clearing certain achievements, the player can obtain new items based on the minigame or MEOW Coupons. These items are received through letters sent by Nintendo to the player's mailbox. All achievements that reward the player with MEOW Coupons are only worth one coupon per clear. When Redd brings his boat to your island and sells artwork, some of the art will be fake. You can identify which pieces are real and which are fake before you buy them by examining them closely. A guide such as the ones from Polygon, Animal Crossing World, or IGN will tell you which details to look for to know if the artwork is real or fake. Flower wreaths and crown recipes are rareYou can also celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival, as your hardwood trees turn pink for 10 days, and you can catch Cherry-Blossom Petals falling around your island to craft Cherry-Blossom items. The only flowers that can't be cloned are gold roses and lily of the valley which don't reproduce at all.
