About this deal

The Swing Caddie itself is a pretty sexy looking device. It’s navy blue with a bright orange screen that I found to be extremely easy to read while on the range. It is slightly reflective, so bright sunshine could prove problematic, but I haven’t had any issues with visibility so far. Welcome to The Golf Shop Online, where our passion for golf drives us to provide you with an exceptional shopping experience! There’s a mode where you can switch to have it tell you “total” distance rather than carry distance, but it’s simply an estimate based onestimated roll, rather than a 100% accurate reading.

There are two additional steps to take if you want to get the most accurate numbers. First, when you turn it on, a number will appear on the screen. Adjust the tilt of the unit until the number is zero. Second, if you want the horizontal launch angle to be accurate, you’ll need to align the unit with your target. There is a small red line on the top of the Swing Caddie SC4 to help with this, but it’s much easier with the alignment plate. The alignment plate and carrying case are sold separately. In using the SC4 with E6, a few things stood out as being particularly impressive. First, when you change clubs in the game, the SC4 automatically registers the change, too. Also, the SC4 stayed connected to the game throughout – something which should not be taken for granted. Finally, for those that are serious about their simulation, the SC4’s onboard display offers a great way to learn more about the game. When you’re in the rough or sand, your shot in the game will lose some distance, but the onboard display shows the real stats on the swing. This gives you the chance to dial in all your in-game shots for a real home simulator advantage.Enjoy the convenience of the included remote control, voice output for distance readings, and a rechargeable Lithium battery, ensuring a seamless and immersive golfing experience at the highest level. Is to really help you hone in on your, you guessed it, approach shots. Again you will have 10 shots, but this time before each shot it will give you a distance between 40 and 100 yards. You then have to try and get it as close to each distance as possible, and it gives you a score out of 10. Personally, I’m not someone who spends much time on the range. BUT, and this is a big but, having the Swing Caddie has made me excited to practice again. But aside from these the technology is pretty similar, as are the different modes (practice, target, and approach).

Timing**: Like music, rhythm and timing are paramount in golf. The ideal club head speed is reached at impact and continues into the through swing. Regular practice will help embed this crucial timing. You can choose your distance in increments of 5 yards (or meters), and you proceed to hit a serious of 10 shots trying to hit that distance. This only happened once in my testing, but where you stand and outside conditions could play a role in your results. For players who find that the SC4 is not reporting accurate data, Swing Caddie offers the Shot Data Equalizer in the My Swing Caddie app. With this, you can adjust the carry distance, swing speed, launch angle, and/or ball speed up or down as much as 10%.

Swing Caddie SC4 Golf Simulator + Launch Monitor

The Swing Caddie SC200 PLUS adds the ability to measure practice swings to the popular SC200. Extremely easy to use. Outstanding accuracy for the price. I found that if you hit your shot well, then the accuracy was pretty much dead on. However if you top it, or have a bad slice then the information can vary wildly.

As the previous flagship golf launch monitor for Swing Caddie, this unit is highly accurate and unique in that it has a display so that it can be used with or without the golf app, a remote control so you don't have to keep going to the unit or your phone, and if you want audible distances—it can give them! The Swing Caddie SC4 Simulator + Launch Monitor is acutting-edge device that combines the functionalities of a simulator and a launch monitor, providing you with an immersive and data-driven golfing experience. We at PlayBetter love the Swing Caddie SC300i. And so does our golf review expert, Gabe at Let's Play Thru on YouTube.

One of my favorite parts about the Swing Caddie 2 is that it has a few different modes you can use, that are all ones I’d actually want to practice with. Practice Mode The original SC200 launch monitor was super easy to use: drop it four to five feet behind the ball, turn it on, and get to work. That hasn’t changed with the SC200 PLUS. Once you load in some batteries, the SC200 PLUS is good to go in seconds. The included remote is much higher quality than I was expecting it to be, and it had a little it of weight to it, which I love. I honestly don’t think they could have created a more user-friendly remote for this device – it worked perfectly, and whether I was changing my club, changing the mode, or changing my target distance – it performed flawlessly. Bottom line, for a device this portable and (relatively) affordable to be able to give you reasonably accurate distances? It’s one of the best training tools I’ve tested. I own a SC200+. I like it, and it is as easy to use as the review indicates, but you have to understand its limitations.

Golf Simulator Mode on the SC4

The new Swing Caddie SC4 golf launch monitor does everything the SC300i does, plus adds some pretty solid upgrades, including: For several years, the idea of a consumer-level launch monitor was a pipe dream. Now, it’s become one of the hottest segments of the golf market. With so many new contenders, Swing Caddie has updated one of their best-selling units, the SC200 [review of the original HERE]. I tested the SC200 PLUS to see how it compares in this newly competitive market. For any queries, don't hesitate to reach out to us. You're now part of a visionary movement - let's celebrate the joy of golf together! The question of whether or not the SC200 is worth the upgrade kind of depends on you and how you plan to use it. Do you have custom fitted clubs and lofts? Definitely worth getting the 200. Golf Simulator compatible with E6 Connect - Free subscription includes one course and a driving range (optional subscription require for extra courses )
