About this deal

Godox AD600 Pro TTL Flash Unit 600Ws TTL / HSS Battery Powered Portable Flash Strobe with 38W Modelling Lamp and High-Efficiency Reflector

Textiles are a good litmus test for colour consistency, mainly because textile clients will know if their product is correctly coloured, or not. And they can spot a 100 degrees kelvin difference a mile off, I kid you not! The unmatched R2 Radio System links Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm and Olympus/Panasonic seamlessly for the ultimate to remote solutions. The sun is no match to this exceptional performer with superior HSS up to 1/8000s. The new integrated reflector makes the flash ready to serve up some dazzling imagery without add-ons, speeding the way to the finish line. And the broad spectrum of Bowens mount light modifiers available, contours every possible lighting occurrence from studio to peak. IMPROVED 38W LED MODELLING LAMP - Improving on the AD600's 10W LED modelling lamp, the AD600 Pro boasts an impressive 38W LED modelling lamp making it much more versatile and useful, especially in lit areas No, the list I provided were the features I remembered, if you actually look at the product you can see it's been almost completely redesigned (new chassis, new battery, new controls, new display, new tube/dome/modelling, new electronics), it's ridiculous to think you'd get it for the same price as the lower end model. These are all worthwhile improvements but if you don't benefit from them then good news you get to save half your money, you win either way.

Godox AD600 Pro TTL Witstro Flash Head Product Video:

The display on the CITI600 is large and easy to read with all relevant information clearly represented.

You can find the wireless triggers here– they are brand specific for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Pentax, Olympus and Panasonic. The design and construction of the carry bag itself is sturdy, and the componentry fits snugly and securely into the pre-cut foam inserts. I think technology is so far ahead that all in one still can have the same quality as components set. I believe even B&O has all-in-one amazing stereo systems :-). It is true that stereo equipment sold in pieces (radio, amp, cassette player etc.) was always better than an all-in-one set (I am 56 so I remember that). However, I must disagree when it comes to lights. The AD200 Pro and the AD200 have an awful lot in common; both lights offer 200Ws of power, a transmission range of 100m, TTL and HSS capabilities, 32 channels, around 500 full-power flashes, as well as both offering a lightweight and portable flash photography option. So, as per your list, faster recycling time, and a stable color temp mode are the only real features, but the number of flashes has been reduced by a third. How is this worth a price premium? I'm under the impression you aren't a working pro. There's no getting through to you, so I'll post for the people who read this so they won't get swayed by your misinformation. It wasn't a good design but it worked, if they replace it with a design which is better then yes that's a feature. The main differences are that the AD600Pro does not have the option for interchangeable adapter rings for Bowens, Profoto and Elinchrom, and obviously there’s the 200-watt power output difference between the two flash heads. Right from the outset, it’s clear that Godox has put some thought into making the AD400Pro flash even more transportable and convenient by providing a carry case with the unit itself – an accessory that the AD600Pro does not come with.

The AD600Pro Witstro features a high-speed sync mode that works with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 seconds, offering flash durations from 1/220 to 1/10,100 seconds. Another unique setting is its Stable color temperature mode, which tightly controls color to keep temperature changes within ±75K across the entire power range. Despite these impressive characteristics, it manages to keep recycling times low at 0.01-0.9 seconds for fast and reliable use, and is capable of 12 continuous pops at 1/16 power output. Finally, a 38W modeling lamp is available to help aid composition. I see these as fixes, rather than new features. As a model incorporating the fixes, it should have been priced the same as the old model (IMO). You can spontaneously Link to simultaneous multi camera systems! Shoot Nikon and Canon at this same time and the XPLOR will automatically sense and respond accurately. Have one photographer use a Sony and the other a Panasonic, without a care to re-sync! COMPLETE COMPATIBILITY - The Godox AD600 Pro is completely compatible with major camera brands. With full TTL connectivity for Canon E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL autoflash, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus and Panasonic TTL autoflash systems, the AD600 Pro also has full support for 1/8000s High-Speed Sync for compatible cameras The controls are familiar. But the innovation is outstanding. News breaking features like: recycling in under a second at full power, super stable color output, real modeling light power from an LED, and integrated reflector while maintain the classic Bowens mount, and superior flashtube performance.I switched to Godox Speedlights a few years ago because of the Li-ion batteries that allowed me to shoot long events without a battery change. For this image of a bolt of cloth, I had a large overhead softbox, and then a large gridded reflector frame right. The issue I had, was down to the weight of the head, which meant I had to counterbalance with a sandbag etc. and I still felt a little uneasy working below it.
