Gaggia Carezza Deluxe is a semi-automatic espresso machine that allows you to operate as a professional barista. Gaggia Carezza Deluxe has a very traditional look with a rounded front and a retro-looking analog temperature dial. The exterior of the machine is mainly made of plastic materials while the front control plate and the cup warmer are made of stainless steel. The design and the materials used give the machine a very elegant appearance which makes it capable of combining in any domestic or professional environment. Gaggia Carezza Deluxe has a single dual-use boiler for heating water for preparing coffee and for producing steam. A 15 bar pump provides more than enough pressure to obtain quality extraction. The water tank has a capacity of 1.4 liters and is positioned behind the coffee stand. With a compact size, the Carezza Deluxe RI8525 is suitable for small spaces, yet it still offers a generous water tank capacity, allowing users to brew multiple cups of coffee without the hassle of frequent refills. The machine also features a high-quality coffee filter, ensuring a smooth and rich flavor with every brew. This is the only other cheap espresso machine I've seen with a thermometer, and I was actually pleasantly surprised with this machine too, both where espresso and milk steaming were concerned. This also applies to the other very similar-looking espresso machines that look just like this but sell under a different brand, including the “ Cook Works Professional“, I've seen what appears to be this same model selling in various countries under various different brand names. I Say one of, them because they also bundle the Gran Gaggia, and the Gaggia Viva in the same bundle, and they're even cheaper and will produce the same espresso quality, but I'll explain in the comparisons section why I believe the Carezza is worth the relatively small amount of extra cash vs these and most slightly cheaper alternatives.

As a largely traditional espresso machine, the design caters primarily for smaller espresso cups, and the portafilter height is fixed, but there is enough room to fit a mug if you like your coffee Americano-style. I slightly prefer the DeLonghi Dedica to the Gran Gaggia and the Gaggia Viva, they're very similar machines, but the portafilter that Dedica comes with while being pressurized, isn't quite as horrible as the Gaggia pressurized portafilter, plus the machine just feels a bit more solid and a better build overall than the Viva and Gran, and although the wand is a panarello, it's DeLonghi's smart panarello with an aeration setting and a heating only setting. As I've said, I like the fact that it has some form of preinfusion, it's not the best but it's better than no preinfusion at all, and most of the cheaper options have no preinfusion.

I can not stress enough how much difference your coffee tastes if you are using freshly roasted and freshly ground beans, have a look at what Coffeeeworks has to offer- you won't be disappointed! In my opinion, it is. Similarly to the above comparisons, if you buy a standard portafilter for this machine then the espresso will be roughly on par with the espresso from the Carezza, but the Carezza comes with the standard portafilter without having to pay extra for it, so the total saving isn't quite as much by that point.

The Carezza has a much more substantial drip tray, too, so there'll be a lot fewer trips to the sink with the drip tray with the Carezza.True to the nature of manual espresso machines, the Gaggia Carezza requires you to manually twist the portafilter into place, which might require you to brace the machine with the other hand to keep it from possibly sliding around on your worktop. Frothing up milk with a steam spout naturally requires a bit of expertise, but we also found its occasional stop-start operation to be a complicating factor. The analogue-style control knob is also a slight red herring, with the actual delivery of both steam and water being much closer to a straight on/off relationship. Much like the temperature gauge, its design is as much for the pro look and feel it provides as anything else. The Carezza Deluxe features a retro Italian aesthetic. Size wise it’s eleven inches wide by twelve and a half deep and twelve and three-quarters high. So compact and no problem fitting under eighteen inch overhanging cabinetry. On top of the machine there’s a heated metallic cup warming surface. This included the Gaggia Carezza, or the “Gaggia Carezza Deluxe” to give it its full, official title. It included the Sage Duo Temp Pro too.
