About this deal

There are a few main alternatives to the Huawei B535 WebBox. Assuming you’re specifically after a 4G router then there’s the Huawei AI Cube, which is also available on Three, the Vodafone GigaCube, and the 4GEE Home Router 2 on EE. If Three's not working for you, can you try perhaps Vodafone? They've got a very stable 4G network that doesn't take quite the bashing. If you've got good signal, it tends to stay alright. I'd stay away from EE for the time being just because they've set up IPv6 on their network in a non-standard way which can cause some things to break.

When I encrypt the traffic via a VPN. it does seem better to respond. Ping, resolution times decrease, though the overall speed is reduced. Unfortunately this isn't a solution for me, as I use netflix too. Press & hold the volume up + The volume down first then press the power button and keep pressing all together. Both achieve 4G+ on bands 3+20. Forcing any other combination using the MR600 interface or LTE H-Monitor proves pointless. SNR hovers around 10, RSRQ around -9, RSRP around -100 - not great! All things considered, the Huawei B535 is a very solid 4G home broadband router. If that’s all you’re after then it’s competitive with devices from EE and Vodafone, but no match for the new Three 4G Hub. The main point from all of this is not to expect a great deal of stability from a 4G network and expect that things like drastic speed changes even during the same day are going to be common.Very similar. Both achieve maximum of 60 down and 30 up, more typically 30-40 down and 20 up. I would say that the MR600 appears slightly more consistent on speeds, but given all the factors involved I'd say there's no difference. I put my Phone's SIM in the router and experienced the same issues - I had to use a SIM adapter to make the sim up to Micro SIM size. A decent test here would be to use the router's SIM in my phone, but I don't want to cut it down and it's not one of those multi-size cards. As such, you might want to consider the new Three 4G Hub or another network option instead, as it might not cost more overall, and in the case of the Three 4G Hub you’ll get higher speeds.

The Three 5G Hub meanwhile has them all massively beat for speed – but again, you need 5G coverage to take advantage of that. It also curiously has fewer ethernet ports (just two), which might be an issue for some. I have been using 4G/3G services for years as my main ISP, I used a router connected to a mifi via a long usb so I could position it on the bedroom windowsill (best signal) and keep the router, switch etc in the study in the other room and it worked perfectly for years until my Billion router broke. One of the joys of 4G routers is that they’re usually incredibly easy to set up, as is the case with the Huawei B535 / Huawei HomeFi Plus. Ez a router egy olyan eszköz, amely lehetővé teszi a felhasználók számára a gyors, megbízható és biztonságos internetkapcsolatot. A Huawei B535-232 kifejezetten tervezve lett az otthoni vagy kis irodai környezet számára, és sokféle eszközt képes támogatni, beleértve a számítógépeket, okostelefonokat és egyéb vezeték nélküli eszközöket.I suspect the certificate error may be connected to my changing the LAN IP from 192.168.8.1 to 192.168.0.1 as that's when I first noticed the problem. I've just thrown my ID sim into the router, still working as usual. Its connected to the default apn that still says EE for me. As a matter of interest, is upgrading mast tech to MIMO just a hardware upgrade or is available bandwidth at a mast increased during these MIMO upgrades as a matter of course? This slim white rectangle comes in at 219 x 138mm and has a grey stand, slightly contrasting the colour of the box itself. There are a number of small lights along the front, showing you at a glance the router’s status, but that’s about as close as it gets to any kind of design flair. Setup That makes it a lot more convenient than fibre broadband. There’s very little waiting and if you move house you can easily take your Huawei B535 with you. Performance & Speeds

Anyway, sorry this post isn't particularly well structured. I do feel that even though some of the issues I have with the router are also present on my phone, they are to a much lesser degree and perhaps it's not solely a network issue and that perhaps there is something in this being a router issue too, if even only partially. Perhaps this router exacerbates the network issues The MIMO technology increases capacity especially at the distance ("cell edge") by helping against the multipath effect of high frequencies. The Three 5G Hub is sure to be more expensive, but there you’re getting even higher speeds if you have the coverage. Conclusion Here’s where things get a bit more complicated, as while the Huawei B535 WebBox is a good performer by 4G router standards, it’s no match for a 5G router or many wired connections. And the actual speeds you get will in large part depend on your coverage. As such, the WebBox won’t look out of place in most homes, and at 219 x 130 x 15mm it won’t take up too much space either. SetupI seem to be in the middle of about 5 towers, which is possibly why I have so many issues, but if you are having similar problems, the analytics on the B535 make it the winner so far - that plus it has a proper bridge mode.
