In amongst the laughs, gross-out scenes and potty-jokes, there are some nice messages about identity and friendship. In his story he’s trying hard not to reveal Batpig’s true identity and it’s so funny to see the illustrations and read the silly things he ends up saying.Gary Yorkshire and his friends, Carl and Brooklyn, are up against what might be their scariest missions yet: Magical, presidential sharks and summer camp! I love all three of the stories in this book, but the last two really made me laugh even more than the first due to how those two are related and what exactly Batpig has to face and how he manages to come up with a plan to finally defeat what’s there.

Over-the-top fun, filled with fast pacing, abundant silliness, and a well-developed plot and characters.The book is set up to look like a comic book, with more than one story within the whole book itself.

And once again, the simple act of writing funny and drawing funny helped to pull me through in the craziest of topsy-turvy times. It was the same superhero outfit, but as time went on, I realized there weren’t a ton of groan-worthy hamster puns, so I started dabbling with different animals.Batpig also battle The Butcher, whose real identity is clear to the reader but not to Batpig, and narrowly manages to save his friends and the city from destruction. Gary's (pig) friend, Brooklyn (bat), accidentally bites him and suddenly he develops some superhero abilities. I would recommend this as it’s such a funny and brilliant story which really made me laugh and smile. It's not easy being a super-swine, but with the help of his best friends Brook the bat and Carl the fish, there's no hamburglar they can't catch.
