About this deal

Most of the time, the better choice is to just start looking for another job if they have been there for a while, because they will have already manipulated management into liking them.

This was a Traveling Sisters group read and I always love hearing the perspectives from my buddies, they always add a fresh take to my perspective. Or perhaps you just have to accept that something else might have come up at the last minute and they really wanted to go to it, but didn’t want to hurt your feelings by admitting it. I am ready to forgive you and move past this, but to be able to do that, I need to know everything that happened.

Slow-burning yet simmering with tension and suspense, ALL THE DANGEROUS THINGS is hypnotic, immersive, and emotionally-impactful—the kind of mystery you’ll sink into, not coming up for air until you’ve turned the final page. They are read during funerals, memorial services, and other celebrations to honour the deceased, evoke memories and offer comfort to those who are mourning. Biography: With over 2 million copies of her books sold worldwide, number one Sunday Times bestseller Clare Mackintosh is the multi-award-winning author of I Let You Go, I See You and Let Me Lie. If you’d like to include a religious reading if your loved one’s funeral service, read our list of popular bible readings for funerals.

There are absolutely moments of tension and suspense in this story, but not as consistently as there are in I SEE YOU. Her writing strength is that she creates every day people that we can relate to but who find themselves in situations that are mind-blowing even to the characters themselves.

This exclusive memoir explores a wide range of stories, from rearing chicken to getting the WI drunk, among others. Regarding the meter, each line consists of eight syllables except the second line, which consists of seven syllables. However, it was a great read and I cannot wait to read more by Clare Mackintosh, who seems to love to include cliff scenes in her writing.

LET ME LIE by CLARE MACKINTOSH was an interesting enough psychological thriller with plenty of twists and turns to be had here and there was definitely something about this book that did hold my interest enough to keep me wanting to read to the end. With this story, we do receive multiple POVs that alternate mainly between the main character and the police officer investigating the crime. Now with a baby herself, Anna feels her mother's absence keenly and is determined to find out what really happened to her parents. Again, without spoiling any elements of LET ME LIE, I will say that I loved reading about such a dedicated, hard-working civil servant.Soon afterwards, Lizzie can’t help but be concerned that the presence of Karen could endanger the safety of her daughter.
