About this deal

We would highly recommend you apply it to your warmer parts. This way, your body heat will activate the notes in this perfume. This way, your perfume will age longer and release better sillage. Gentle Fluidity Gold is a very beautiful, soft spicy vanilla and amber scent, it feels very light and airy but at the same time elegant and noticeable. You will definitely stand out when wearing this, it's not your typical generic, designer scent. 100% unisex and could easily be a signature scent.

Well imagine yourself near fresh cut wood and add some sparkling water with fruits and random white flowers, its very hard to explain the fragrance to be honest. I suppose if you don’t like juniper you won’t like this. However, if you find piney, evergreenish, juniper scents intriguing or classy, you should grab a sample. It’s not just a one note fragrance though. This is a warm, sweet amber-vanilla fragrance. I can't say it's groundbreaking but it is really nice and has a really special place in my heart because i bought it while on a trip in Rome. The first time I wore this around my boyfriend he said it smelt really nice and sweet, so I guess that technically counts as a compliment haha I like the smell so much. It is inspired of a gin n tonic. In the beginning I get a nice touch of juniper berries, musk and woody notes. All that makes it a aromatic smell. As it dry downs, the Vanilla and Amber notes take the lead, the opening notes are still there but they are not that loud as in the opening. It has a bit lying in it as the green, and floral notes tend to open up right at the beginning. Later the spicy and creamy notes take center stage, and pineapple takes the reins. It's a good choice for everyone to wear and a true crowd-pleaser. It is a pretty good option for you to buy without trying it.I’ve been ignoring this one for so long even if I’m a vanilla person. One staff in Sephora even recommended this but I just ignored because who would pay for such an expensive perfume? Fast forward to few months after, I’m still on the hunt for the perfect vanilla sweetness that’s just right for me even after trying several designer brands. So I was like “Okay fine, I’ll try this one.” And then everyhing changed… Water-based perfumes tend to evaporate from your skin, and the fragrance notes dilute much faster. But the same cannot be said for these oil-based fragrances. Your skin, along with fragrance notes, absorbs these oils and stays longer on the skin. This fragrance is amazingly close to the refreshing original aroma of Gentle Fluidity Silver. The scent is slightly on the milder side, but it does come with a pretty good sillage. As it is a mild fragrance, it won't cause many headaches if you smell it directly or up close. Then I tried it again yesterday as well as another fragrance and was like yep this and the other fragrance I love, the problem? Over time I didn’t like the other fragrance but its projection on my skin was incredible! Gentle fluidity’s projection?… not even arms length or maybe a whiff here and there but very weak so it’s easily a skin scent and idk about you but I like my fragrances to project well at least at arms length.

Overall, the scent is a clean, juniper berry aromatic. I have seen others call it barbershoppy, but to me it is its own thing, and I can appreciate the uncommon scent profile. It is highly wearable, inoffensive, and mysterious enough to draw people into your space. It is a perfect office scent for warmer months, but it would be a great date night scent for summer as well. It is clean, gin-like, and crisp (I have heard others use the word metallic, but crisp is a better word… as in crisp white shirt.) Bought this fragrance in Malaysia in 2022, this fragrance was recommended to me by a friend and he was 100% correct with this being great in summer and all year round fragrance. If you like sweet vanilla scents, I would even say unless you can't tolerate a sweet vanilla scent, this is a safe blind buy. Expensive, but worth it to me! Two, as GFS begins to dry down, it starts to exhibit this terrible aroma of what smells just like the odor of cigarette smoke and tar clinging to clothing, it is terribly off-putting. Other reviewers here have found a metallic, cheesy note to be present during drydown; I can only assume that this is my impression of what they're referring to; either way, it's horrible, and I can't get past it, and once it shows up it doesn't go away.

It’s warm and cool at the same time. Bitter for a bit and then mellow and then warm and resinous, almost powdery, but always with juniper and a little forest note that won’t quit. It's more on the masculine side of the gender spectrum but can be worn by a woman of a certain caliber. The juniper note is most noticeable and does have a gin frappe accord as described but its also kind of green, musky, slightly metallic, and has a soft fresh sweet spicy essence. The juniper smells alot like the gin note in Royal Mayfair by Creed, and the green accord in this fragrance smells exactly like the “greeness” in L’homme A la Rose, also by MFK. It also has a quality to it that resembles the classic DNA of Le Labo fragrances… specifically Another 13. Outside of these fragrance associations, I can’t think of anything else that smells like this. It’s masculine, with a classic feel but still very modern, has a gentle airy transparency but maintains excellent longevity and projection, original, and definitely deserves a place at the top with the kings of the fragrance world. At the open, for the first 10-15seconds, reminds me of Chanel Platinum Egoiste. After that, it does its own thing. You can use it as a standalone fragrance. But you can also go for another fragrance for pairing once this scent dies down after about 3 to 4 hours. You can also use it for about 3 to 4 hours before bed. It is too strong to spray onto yourself and go to bed immediately. Oakcha Raffish A cool, Gentle, Fluidity Silver dupe that doesn’t feel like a dupe. This perfume is a fresher version of Gentle Fluidity Gold. Therefore, it works better for warmer months. The unisex fragrance is the creation of Francis Kurkdijian. And just like the Gold variant, this one has a moderate sillage and can last up to 10 hours.

I came across this while trying to find a perfume for my girlfriend last Xmas. Spent two weeks trawling perfume departments and collecting blotters inside little plastic bags and taking them home, must have ended up with over a hundred. I then went through them all rigourously, smelling each sample one by one, eliminating those I didn't like and keeping those that I did, then repeating the process. Now I've never been particularly interested in fragrances but I really enjoyed this job. Doesn’t sound exciting, does it? It’s not exciting. (I’m excited, though). It’s something else. It’s classy, and if that’s not enough for you, then this might not be one you’ll love. I love it and I can’t exactly explain why.Gentle Fluidity Gold is creamy and sweet, but not really gourmand, with a subtle fizzy sharpness. It's very bright and not as warm and deep as I expected from something called 'Gold', but I still like it a lot. If it was gold, then a lighter and cooler tone of it, glistening in the sunlight. I haven't tried the silver version so I can't compare. GFG to me somehow smells like the most magical, comforting smell ever. I got a sample of GFG and sprayed it on myself before walking into my house and when I got in the door my husband (who has no interest in fragrance and whose eyes glaze over when I excitedly talk to him about them) gave me a hug, breathed in and said “MMMM! You smell like Disneyland!” It’s warm yet fresh, classy and fun - this perfume smells like someone who handles their business with finesse. And the drydown blend of musk, vanilla, and coriander seeds is instantly up there with the best of mass appealing niche drydowns.
