But the supporting app needs some updates, it’s a let-down with comparison to the awesome quality of the dashcam itself. I’m sure Road Angel will investigate this, especially how technology focused they are as a company. The idea of the app is great in principle, but it needs to be more user-friendly, but as I’ve said above, you set up the dashcam and basically forget about it.
The new Halo Ultra uses the latest ADAS technology to monitor traffic conditions whilst driving. The Halo Ultra can be used to make the driver aware of pedestrians, vehicle proximity and lane departures. The winter heating mode ensures the windscreen remains clear from frost and ice even on the coldest of nights. Once in the app it’s not immediately obvious where your videos live. You may see short incident recordings triggered by the g-sensor, but your full video history is accessed by dragging the timeline on the live view tab. I found that counterintuitive at first, but it should be a great visual way to find a moment in time and view your location on a map. With visible screen to distract the driver, the Halo Ultra is so discreet that you forget it's there until needed.Like in Halo: Combat Evolved, no Ultras are seen alive. Their corpses can only be seen on the level Floodgate. Quite often their helmets will be glitched, showing either the split jaw that Rtas 'Vadum has or a mixture of the Combat helmet and the Assault helmet.
Lower-caste species in the Covenant including Unggoy, Yanme'e and (following a decree by the Prophet of Truth) Jiralhanae were equally able to attain the title of Ultra, though due to their lower-caste status were presumably unable to enjoy the same societal benefits and progression available to their Sangheili superiors. It is unclear how these races' Ultras fit with the Evocati hierarchy; their successors in the Banished employ Unggoy Ultras in low-level command roles over other Unggoy to relieve commanders of the task, though they are also often deployed paired alongside Sangheili they have a shared history with.
