Gone were the cheesy pop tunes of the 90s, Take That had grown up with their fans and the men, now in their 30s revealed a much more mature sound, with their 2006 comeback single 'Patience'. Robbie Williams and Mark Owen reunite as they sit in Robbie's kids' high chairs: 'Babies of the band! Speaking to What To Watch at the world premiere of Greatest Days on Thursday, June 15, Calum said: "It was incredible collaborating with those guys - they're pop royalty!

However, in July 1995 after countless hits, fans heard the devastating news; Robbie Williams would be leaving the band following friction with other band members. A film adaptation titled Greatest Days featuring Jayde Adams, Aisling Bea, Alice Lowe and Amaka Okafor in the title roles, was written by Firth and directed by Coky Giedroyc with choreography by Drew McOnie. Tickets to the entire tour sold it in less than five hours, making it the fastest-selling tour in UK history.

The soundtrack was recorded by the cast of the film, including Aisling Bea, Jayde Adams, Alice Lowe and Amaka Okafor. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 16 and will be available to stream/download here. The musical made its West End premiere at the Theatre Royal Haymarket for a limited run from 1 December 2018 to 12 January 2019, including a charity gala opening night on 4 December 2018.

Greatest Days is released in UK and ROI cinemas on Friday 16th June and follows five best friends who have the night of their lives seeing their favourite boy band in concert. Founding members Robbie Williams and Jason Orange, who quit Take That in 2014 and retired from touring and making music, isn't involved in the project. The documentary is designed to accompany the musical film Greatest Days, which was in cinemas from 16th June. Their lead single 'The Flood' was released and peaked at number 2 featuring both Gary and Robbie as lead vocals.

Tim Firth wrote the musical, which began touring in 2017, and told the Daily Mail about the story: "A tragedy happens, then we jump forward 25 years to see the women those girls became and they realise they were fools to have been apart for so long.
