About this deal

As of now, we can epect to see the LEGO Camp Nou stadium launch later this fall come October, but an official release date has yet to be confirmed. It’ll most likely launch come the first of the month given the usual trend with new debuts. Pricing on the other hand is a little more up in the air. I have absolutely no interest in soccer or football, but I’m glad I bought the other stadium as an architectural set (and for the interesting parts). It’s more a building than a sport playset. For a similar reason some people bought the Sydney opera even though they are not opera fans. You build the stadium in quarters and these wrap around the central pitch to complete the model, and whatever resentment you may feel for how long that took you, it all dissipates because what sits before you just instantly sings as a LEGO set. The contrast in colour between the exterior and interior is perfect and as vibrant as the real thing, and the sheer size of the set is as impressive as you would hope it to be.

This set is only targeted at FCB fans so it's not surprise it's not well received here as statistically, even if we were all football fans, there wouldn't be many huge Barça fans. Yeah, we have no idea what LEGOs internal data actually looks like, but we can make some summations... like that despite how much myself and everyone else seems to hate the show, 21302 mustve sold well enough to launch a theme of sitcom set sets. So with this release i think we can surmise that as others have said in this thread, 10272 probably sold really really well. But not to regular AFOLs, to football fans. Being neither a ManU nor a Barca fan, these sets don't interest me at all and the chances of getting a Tottenham Hotspur Stadium / New White Hart Lane are probably next to zero! ;-) I'm not sure I'd spend this kind of money on even that, to be honest. Then, for anyone who is into their football, who does have more than a surface-level appreciation of the extra detail that has gone into the design here, 10284 Camp Nou – FC Barcelona is another one of those very special LEGO sets to save up for and truly enjoy. The proportions are WAAAAY off. The stadium shouldn’t be that tall (look it up on google maps 3D) "I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. I think like Old Trafford this set is aimed at getting football fans into Lego rather than the other way around, so I can understand why there are so many negative poll responses. Once built, that is thanks to this continued and – even though we talk about it a great deal – still underappreciated level of attention to detail that the LEGO Group brings to sets in this current era of design. Granted, the wider audience for this LEGO for Adults set may only come into this model with a broad knowledge of the subject matter. Importantly, then, if all you know of Camp Nou is the coloured seats and the general shape of the overall stadium and its four stands, and you like football and LEGO, then 10284 Camp Nou – FC Barcelona immediately impresses. For now, 10284 Camp Nou’s very existence – and any and all details surrounding it – are simply a rumour, so don’t put too much faith in them. At least until the LEGO Group confirms otherwise…

I understand that there will be some future sets based off on fairly unknown Netflix reality TV series where I don't where the demand is, but with football there is a market. So I would say that the market research for this set is better." The new LEGO FC Barcelona Camp Nou set is fantastically detailed. Features include the stands, pitch, team tunnel, media boxes and even the team’s coach. The score board also references the club’s momentous 5-0 win over rivals Real Madrid in 2010 and two of the stands proudly feature the “Mes que un Club” motto that is known by fans around the world. The slogan on the bleachers reads “Més que un club,” which translates from the Catalan as “More than a club.” There are so many little details included around the model too that at once both blend together to so smartly recreate Camp Nou, and still also speak to the subtle changes in direction and angle that make this stadium so unique. — Characters — Given that Man United and Barcelona have fan bases that go way beyond their local areas I can see why they have done them.

Wow reading those comments above ...... Its not for me but hey ho if your a fan its a neat showcase I'm a big fan of normal football, but Barcelona is just a joke club nowadays, sorry. Old Trafford is much more appealing. We have mentioned comparisons not only to 10272 Old Trafford – Manchester United but also to 10276 Colosseum and that is with purpose, both positive and negative. That is because for how much like both of those sets 10284 Camp Nou – FC Barcelona amazes as a display model and for where it resembles 10272 Old Trafford – Manchester United in selected techniques and general approach, it also comes very close in stages to the build experience for 10276 Colosseum. And that was not so fun. It’s not on the same level of disorientating repetition as we experienced in piecing together 10276 Colosseum – at all – but as a consequence of a) the natural shape of the real-world stadium, b) how similar that shape is to the Colosseum and c) how effective the technique used in constructing the Colosseum scales down for Camp Nou, there are parallels in the build experience, and without breaking up the process the repetition will become noticeable. There’s not much else to go on at the moment, but it’s safe to assume the home of Barcelona football club – which is the biggest stadium in Europe, and the fourth-largest football ground in the world – will be recreated in microscale, following the path laid out by 10272 Old Trafford, and will reuse that set’s printed pitch pieces.Barça Vision is an innovative platform that uses emerging technologies like Web3 and Artificial intelligence to revolutionise the fan experience. Antoine Griezmann abruptly left last night before the transfer window closed to take the burden off their finances. I don't care for it, but there are people who will so there's nothing wrong with this thing's existence"
