I was told you can raise the jumper, and am not sure how to, does anybody know how to raise it up ? When my son goes in it the legs spread so much that hes really low to the ground, and we've clipped the seat up as high as it can go on the links In general, most experts agree that you shouldn’t leave a baby in a jumper for extended periods of time. Most guidelines recommend no more than one or two sessions per day, with a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes per session. When should a baby stop using a jumper?

span itemprop="name">Well worth itLove this!! The only thing is we wish the cross bars had hinges so you can just fold it up when not in use! We live in an apartment so very limited space. But other than that, the babe loves it so we are happy!

As fun as your little one may find their jumper, it’s not recommended to let baby spend all day jumping. Experts recommend limiting their jumper time to just a few short sessions each day. h2>

Note that these days, you can find baby jumpers with wheeled attachments. These look like a modified walker that’s connected to the jumper. If the idea of having a piece of baby gear for such a short period of time doesn’t appeal to you, consider upgrading to a convertible jumper. Convertible jumpers are often designed to transition into activity tables and even toddler tables, complete with matching chairs. Activities When assembled, this freestanding play station features plenty of fun activities, like a hanging mobile with two toys and a toy bar that lights up and plays sounds to keep your little one engaged. Pros: higher weight limit, 3 height adjustments, activity center, 360-degree swivel seat, a fold-flat design that saves space

Also, remember that hands-free doesn’t mean that your jumper is a substitute for adult supervision. As seen from our round-up, baby jumpers can range from budget-friendly to splurge-worthy. You don’t have to buy the most expensive jumper in the store. But depending on your goals, you might find that you’re leaning toward a certain price point. Having complete freedom of movement is incredibly exciting for babies, especially those who are not able to sit up or crawl on their own yet. The Jolly Jumper gives them another way to see and enjoy the world. In addition to working on their gross motor skills, they are able to get a sense of rhythm as well. Be sure to play some tunes while your little ones bounces around, giving them the opportunity to dance.Toysrus.ca & Babiesrus.ca base "Our Suggested Age" ranges on these manufacturer recommendations, as well as considering which ages will enjoy the product. Such factors as a child's developmental skill set and toy popularity help determine the enjoyment levels of a product. Before you go on the search for a baby jumper, explore your baby’s playing habits. Do they enjoy toys that have flashing lights or are they more partial to sound and music? Do they like rattles and things they can shake, or do they enjoy hammering on buttons? Pay special attention to the toys your baby jumper has, as this is what will stimulate your baby’s mind and keep them engaged while they play. The Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo has a number of toys circling the seat. It plays sounds and has lights to reward each of your baby’s moves. Other baby jumpers have exciting activities all around their seat. Whenever your baby jumps, lights flash and sounds play from the toys. You’ll even find models that allow your baby to play the piano with their feet. span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope>Anonymous from In my experience the baby looses interest in the toy long before he was close to the weight limit which I believe was 25LB

Whether you’re always on the go with a baby in tow or you’re trying to minimize the space baby gear takes up in common living areas, a baby jumper that can be easily folded and stowed is an advantage. div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Erinkotylak

A product's "Manufacturer's Age" range on Toysrus.ca & Babiesrus.ca is provided by the product's manufacturer. This suggested age range may be based on what age range the manufacturer recommends will like the product best, or what age range is appropriate based on safety information and restrictions. How old does your baby need to be before they can enjoy a baby jumper? It’s always best to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure your baby is safe in the activity. A few factors will impact your selection process for finding the best baby jumper. Keep the following concerns in mind as you shop for a baby jumper. Budget We can’t blame any parent who doesn’t want to splurge on a baby product that won’t last more than a few months. But this Oribel Portaplay Activity Center is a luxury that makes sense. Cons: lowest setting (for 6-month-olds) may be too low for taller babies, more determined babies may be able to remove some of the detachable centerpieces Pros: convertible design that grows with your baby, freestanding jumper design, activity center included
