What will happen next? to put it simply, I JUST LOVED THE WAY THE H LOVED THE h. if theres one thing i disliked about the h is that shes living MY dream. 🤪😭 This was one of the cutest marriage of convenience books that I have read. Noah has loved Shay ever since high school and when he gets a second chance to pursue her, he goes all in. poor shay just wanted to be loved and has a tiny fear of abandonment (don’t we all) and noah was like, let me reassure you every single step of the way.Shay Zucconi had literally been left at the altar, surrounded by friends, dressed in her wedding dress ready to be married when her husband to be called it off via one life changing phone call. Feeding into her abandonment issues since she was a child. Finding out that she had inherited a tulip farm from her grandmother was the perfect escape, but that escape came with some tight stipulations. To inherit she had to marry within the year. theres barely a plot since most of the book is just the minutiae of farmer live, and the drama is kept to a minimum. so it might be boring for some. but i really had fun reading the domestic-ness of it all and the shenanigans that the H, the h, and the niece got into.
