About this deal

Frankly, While I have an AD200 and a few other battery-powered flashes, I'm tired of having to keep on top of the charging of batteries. I'm happy to have a power cord in the studio. Use wireless trigger X1 as well as power remotes XT16, XPro, and X2 to wirelessly control the head’s power, modeling light, triggering, and more. With the radio turned off you can optically use any pop of flash to trigger it, and it has two modes. Slave 1 means every pop it sees from the optical sensor will fire the flash. Slave 2 means it will fire on every other flash which is based on whether or not your camera uses a preflash.

I fired 50 full power pops in rapid secession and there was no sign of overheating. Recycle time is ~1 second (240v model, slightly longer on the 100v version)

The MS300 has a Bowens front accessory mount, allowing it to use Godox modifiers as well as accessories from the many manufacturers that use this system. Radiant Photo– Radiant Photo superior quality finished photos with perfect color rendition, delivered in record time.Your photos — simply RADIANT.The way they are meant to be. Mylio Photos – Access your photos from anywhere, without the cloud! Easily showcase your photos on-the-go, resolve duplicates, find faces and look for those stunning locations. Your second performance consideration would be the modeling lamp (the continuous light source meant to preview what your flash will look like). Plug-in strobes use traditional tungsten lamps, while battery strobes will forgo the modeling light entirely, or use a power-efficient LED light instead. If you want a battery model, but a modeling light is important to you, we must again look to higher-end models like the Godox AD400 Pro and AD600 Pro to get similar performance to a traditional lamp. Optional X1 triggers control power ratio, modeling lamp, an audio tone, as well as remote flash triggering

The customer may be charged with the costs of transport and diagnosis of the product if the product sent as part of the warranty complaint is functional or its defects result from improper use of the product. One of the other great features of this light is the Bowens mount on the front. This allows you to attach most any modifier to the unit for very little money, as the Bowens mount system is the most versatile on the market. Power The heat had caused the inbuilt trip to stop the unit firing but, crucially, it hadn’t turned the modelling light off. Thankfully I noticed this before the mount had completely melted off – and sending a glass fresnel modifier on to the set. We’ve found that there is a tendency for beginners to overestimate how much power they need. Going to a 600 watt-second strobe for that extra stop of light is just not very practical if the strobe never gets used above 1/16 of its maximum power. Like most things in photography, you pay a bit of a premium to eke out that extra little bit of performance at the top end. That full stop of light means twice the volume in capacitors adding to the weight, bulk, and cost of your strobe. Do you think it would support a 250W modelling light bulb??? (I find the 150W is a bit weak I use 250W in all of my strobes)All of Godox’s current battery models and a couple of plug-ins (QT400II, QT600II) support HSS. The big downside to HSS is that you will lose a lot of peak flash power when you use it. For that reason, we recommend a 400W*s strobe at minimum for serious HSS work. That said, the AD200 Pro is still a competent HSS strobe when the sun gets a little lower. 5. The Ecosystem The ready light blinks when youndrop power, reminding you to dump the capacitor to get the proper power ratio I think I used an XT32 which happened to be at hand. You can switch the modelling light off and on from the remote but not set it into proportional mode - I think that's true of all current Godox remotes. Controls are simple and intuitive - besides once you have set the channel and group you are mostly going to control it from the trigger. Modelling light has three settings full on, off and proportional. The Godox MS300 is a professional studio light that is designed to provide reliable and consistent lighting for photography and videography projects. It features a compact and lightweight design, making it easy to transport and set up in various locations. The MS300 utilizes a 300-watt flash tube, which delivers consistent and powerful lighting output for capturing clear and detailed images.
