About this deal

Due to police budget cuts, we couldn't afford weapons that fired, but it's important to have a visible deterrent. Barricade's instructions seem to ignore the hinge that connects his arms to his torso. This hinge is a necessary part of transformation, since it is the only way to give Barricade's arm and hood proper clearance.

Stealth Force Barricade is a non-transforming car with several non-firing hidden weapons throughout his frame, activated by lifting up his spoiler. His license plate reads "2PN-SLV", in reference to "To punish and enslave..." on the sides of the car.Prowl was originally part of the Autobot line up for the movie, but was removed, as the writers loved the perverse idea of making the police car a Decepticon.

Unfortunately for many fans, like Human Alliance Mudflap, he is sold in rather limited quantities. Making him quite hard to find and rather expensive. Like the rest of the Human Alliance brethen, Barricade is a frequent victim of being counterfeited. In the first movie, Barricade sports the license plate "1-4027E", registered in Oklahoma. It can be briefly glimpsed when he slows down after having seemingly cornered Bumblebee, but is more clearly seen in set photos. Oddly enough, that plate also shows up on Jazz's robot mode chest in the same movie. The Deluxe Class Recon Barricade redeco toy, meanwhile, sports the plate "SAGE2764", a reference pertaining to deco designer Joe Kyde, the Premium Series redeco of the Deluxe toy sports the plate "DCPTCN" for "Decepticon", and the Revenge of the Fallen Human Alliance toy sports the plate "2PN-SLV", referring to Barricade's infamous "To punish and enslave..." markings.

He is the only Decepticon other than Megatron and Starscream to appear in both the first film and the third film. Frenzy's ability to access secret information stored by Earth's humans provides the Decepticons with a distinct edge. In the event he is killed in battle, the information stored in his memory core could make him just as valuable as the AllSpark itself. [1] However, Frenzy is exceptionally hard to kill because he possesses a decentralized, modular nervous system. In essence, it means that even if he suffers critical injuries such as decapitation (which seems to be a not-infrequent problem for him), he can continue to function.

Barricade subsequently reappeared in several further IDW comics before returning to the screen in Dark of the Moon, where he lost his eyes and leg by NEST soldiers before disappearing, presumably killed by NEST or the Autobots. He is named "Bone scrusher" on the Canadian cross-sell. Guess how Bonecrusher feels about that little misspelling.

Reviews

A non-transforming Saleen S281E police car that mechanically opens its panels and reveals hidden weapons at the push of a button. An early working name for Barricade was Brawl, [4] which was later given to another movie character (but not in the movie itself). Barricade is the only one of the figures using this mold and its retools to have any 'battle damage' paint; his is limited to his front fenders. His car doors read "Police" in Autobot script, identical to his moldmate Prowl. Although the Hungarian dubbing of the movie, at least according to cast lists revealed on-line prior to the dub's release, had a voice actor attached to Frenzy, he never spoke in this language in the dub. His few intelligible lines were either left in English, or outright omitted. The Czech version also neglected to dub his lines. This is strange, since in the movie's subtitled theatrical run, these bits actually were translated, yet the dubs (which were produced for the later DVD release), somehow missed them. Frenzy was built for silence and cruelty. His elaborate optical sensors are so sensitive they can make out microscopic bacteria that swarm on a human's skin. The antennae-like interceptors on his head can resolve human brainwaves into coherent data, giving him limited mind-reading capability. The bladed joints on Frenzy's extraordinarily agile hands serve as both weapons and tools. Though he only speaks when communicating with the likes of Megatron or Barricade, he can also emit a hypersonic code-breaking shriek. Robot Replicas Decepticons Frenzy

Unfortunately, like with Smokescreen, Barricade tends to suffer from quality control issues such as a fragile transparent plastic roof, doors that refuse to peg in for vehicle mode, and molding flash inside the left shoulder port, preventing his shoulder cannons from fully settling inside it. When Bumblebee went to investigate the source of an image found on the internet, he found Barricade waiting for him. Barricade blew up a nearby car and took off, sending out messages on the police radio that Bumblebee was responsible. After failing to lose Bumblebee in spite of all of Tranquility's police force being after him, he engaged him in combat. Unable to defeat Bumblebee, he hastily retreated. A Voyager-sized figure of Barricade and Frenzy, featuring more advanced transformation and detail. The Frenzy figure can fit on the car mode's seats, fold to fit inside Barricade's front grill/chest, or mount on certain points of the robot mode to man Barricade's auxiliary weapons. Ability: Essence Theft: Barricade rushes at a target for a draining strike, and heals him for double the amount of damage inflicted.

At various points during his fight with Optimus Prime, Bonecrusher emits some garbled roars that some viewers want to believe is English dialogue. However, the subtitles and closed captions for the film do not identify any dialogue, just labeling it as "roaring," and considering how future films would depict the Decepticons as often speaking in garbled Cybertronian gibberish, it seems unlikely that Bonecrusher was intended to be saying anything comprehensible to human ears. Part of the fourth wave of Siege Deluxe Class figures, Barricade is a new-head retool of Prowl, transforming into a Cybertronian police car. He has multiple 5 mm post holes to accommodate C.O.M.B.A.T. System accessories and parts. He also features multiple hardpoints to accommodate "Fire Blasts" from the Battle Masters assortment, which can be used to simulate blaster fire or explosions. His two "HF Siren-Blast Punisher Cannons" can be mounted on these points, or the slots on his hood/shoulders, as well as combine into a larger double-barreled blaster. He also includes a light bar that can be mounted on his roof or wherever else you care to. The bar has an indent in its top that, despite being rectangular, still fits 5 mm posts very well.
