About this deal

The 7mm driver in the IE 600 is an incredible piece of micro engineering and produces a ... [+] distortion-free sound thanks to resonance chambers. Sennheiser

vs moondrop s8 : ie600 has better sub bass rumble, more energetic treble and less shouty midrange, s8 has more noticable ba timbre, more shouty and forward midrange, better separation, resolution are about the same And then there’s the real party piece of recent Sennheiser designs. ‘Fluency’ is a subjective term; it can’t be measured and even the definition is a slightly shaky one. Even with this allowance made, I would be amazed if you didn’t listen to the IE 600 piledriver its way through Show Me How To Love by Audioslave and not be absolutely grabbed by just how together it is. The durable idea that crossovers are inaudible until the moment you take them out of the equation feels very applicable here because there’s so little between you and what you’ve chosen to listen to. Verdict: Sennheiser has scored with the new IE 600 audiophile wired earphones. They’re made of hard-wearing amorphous zirconium that can withstand the rigors of the daily commute. The TrueResponse transducer produces a detailed sound that’s mellowed by a beautifully warm bass frequency. I guarantee that you will hear details in your favorite music that you won’t have heard before when listening to the IE 600. These are exceptional earphones for the money and can compete with far more expensive models from other manufacturers. If you want a pair of earphones for use with a high-end digital audio player that can produce a sound that makes music shine, the Sennheiser IE 600 are the earphones for you. Highly Recommended. For reference, the IE 300 also uses a 7mm XWB dynamic driver which is another variation of the TrueResponse driver using a different blend of materials.vs clairvoyance : ie600 has more dynamics and impact on the treble also sharper note definition and resolution,

But it’s only with a proper amplifier that you can hear what they’re really capable of. A very simple upgrade for laptop users is the DragonFly Red or Cobalt, but for laptop use I think the Chord Mojo 2 would be a perfect match.About the IEMs- Can't fault these. In this world of wireless stuff, I wanted to have a look at the high end IEMs. While I own the Sennheiser's TW3 blutooth buds and totally appreciate the comfort and portabilty advantages of those, I can't stress how much resolution gets missed when the bluetooth buds are tuned to please the crowd by turning up the low and high frequecies and making then sound so musical! I had a feeling that the Sennheiser IE 600 would be really good. Yet I was surprised at how good they actually are. It’s too easy to say that you get the sound of the IE 800 S, just with more pronounced bass. Because you do get that, but at the same time there are better dynamics and more life across the frequency band, and at the same time the earplugs seem more “musical”. The new Sennheiser earplugs therefore seem a MUCH better buy. The peppy, Flamenco-inspired "Tamacun" from the classical guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela was absolutely gorgeous, with layers of strings cascading around my head. I got a nice amount of separation and crispness here such that the music sounded pleasant and not "too much." What would "too much" be? Well, on this particular day, when my ears were feeling kind of sensitive, a brighter presentation (too much treble emphasis) likely would have hurt my ears.
