About this deal

This fragrance was one of my first experiences with patchouli when I first started testing perfumes. I remember walking around the mall afterwards and wanting to scrub the dirty, rubbery herbal smell off my wrist. These are different, but there are similarities with guava & patchouli. Sotoor Seen is more a dupe of Gucci by Gucci EDP where there is a tropical fruity opening that dries down more honey forward. Sotoor Seen outperforms.

I’m ok with fruitchouli fragrances. It depends which fruits and how well the patchouli is balanced. In this case: guava (which is not very common) and the patchouli is a bit overwhelming. This one reminds me of Curious more than it does fantasy, Im surprised they didn't add it to that line of Britney fragrances. Its nothing terribly unique, its pleasant, inoffensive, and perfect for an office. If you have Gucci Bloom you really don't need this one too as they smell incredibly similar. Sory not sorry but after sniffing thousands of fragrances in my life so far i refuse to justify any mediocre fragrance anymore. This is basically a milky, creamy sweet fragrance, it reminds me of the milk foam from a latte. The coffee note doesn't really stand out to me, I think it's there more for anchoring the scent, to give it dimension, not for giving it an actual coffee smell, as this is indeed a rounded scent, with no edges. I had very high hopes for this, as I love most of Britney's other frags, Fantasy being my favorite. While I do enjoy this scent, the performance is absolutely terrible on me. I can overspray this like a mad man and still barely detect it's presence 15 minutes later. After an hour, I can't detect it at all. Zero traces. . .Review for my own reference - Not my favorite scent personally, but not a bad scent. I don't find it to be really anything special. It claims to be unisex, but I think it leans more feminine. It needs more pink pepper! I'm not a huge fan of the apricot note at all! It's a decent scent just not my fave. Sits close to the skin with little sillage. I agree with others who commented on the "soapy feel" but it doesn't smell cheap to me. As reviewer 'Greenhouse' said, it has an old-school cologne feel to it, making this 100% a unisex fragrance. I really don't understand why it wasn't marketed as one! The bottle is abstract and absolutely stunning and it stands out from the rest of her collection, which is more juvenile and feminine. I have the reformulated version but I hope to get the original with metal plate as I think that small difference makes it even more luxurious looking. I didn't smell melon, tiare, jasmine, sandalwood or any other note. It smelled like 90's alcoholic hair spray. Such a shame, since I was really looking everywhere online for that perfume because I loved every Britney spears's fantasy.

It’s unisex but I would say it maybe leans a little more feminine, yet not as gourmand-y or as girly as her Fantasy range. It’s perfectly suitable for a male to wear, however, the male would have to be comfortable with his feminine side, so in saying that I think this would be perfectly acceptable for Britney’s legion of gay fans, of which I am one. It smells like a party scent, it has a real element of fun to it, I could see a bunch of people wearing this to a Britney concert, all smelling perfectly delicious. I don't mind sweet scents in general! There are quite a few sweet perfumes that I love (Crystal Noir, Cloud etc). What I dislike is the juxtaposition of coffee and sugar in this perfume, which smells suffocating to me. After a couple months, it changed again. The longevity turned twice as short as it used to be. The tangerine note appeared along with the patchouli. I really needed to carry the bottle around and respray it, but I did not mind. I'm a little annoyed that the bottle is only 1.0 oz. Compared to everything else being 3.3 oz. Maybe it's a test run. Who knows. I would like a bigger bottle to come out though. Mature, classy, put together, clean smelling. I really quite enjoy it and will continue to reach for it.GENDER: Feminine Leaning - The opening is extremely sweet and feminine leaning, but the dry down feels quite unisex. I am not completely sold on this one. It is fresh and bright (very light on the patchouli) with just a drizzle of praline. There is something alluring about it. Something quirky yet complex.

minutes later and it's weird, it almost has like a sunscreen scent to it slightly? It's difficult to explain, but it smells like that in the 'after smell' after I get a slight sandalwood.Smelled this today. Never fails, her fragrances always outshine the best niche fragrances. I try not to wear them. I'm not in to labeling fragrances but her line is clearly meant for women, but anytime I give compliments on women it's almost always a BSpears fragrance. There is a reason for 2 billions in sales. I'll occasionally wear curious around the house and find myself naked on a bear skin rug... alone I do recognise the Britney DNA in this. I don't feel like this is something totally different from her earlier perfumes (at least not from her Fantasy line). The bottle is an unique shape, especially for Britney. It doesn't really smell like the Fantasy flanker per se, but it does smell like a celebrity perfume. I understand why people like it, I wouldn't buy it personally BC I wouldn't get enough wear out of it, but I do like it. i love it just as much as Blissful Fantasy and you probably don't need them both but i think i like this one more, i don't know why, it's just so uplifting and fun! I like it but it doesn't drive me crazy and that's why I have a full bottle (of 30ml), for more than 10 years (and it still smells like the first day, amazing.)

SEASON: Spring, Summer, Fall - The opening is so sweet and juicy, it's perfect for the hotter weather temperatures, but the dry down is almost woody, which reminds me of Fall. Prerogative by Britney Spears is not surprisingly a sweet gourmand fragrance. I believe the unisex aspect of this fragrance is more of a marketing ploy as Prerogative smells like a cross-between Fantasy and Private Show. The spicier, more masculine accords don't play a huge role in this scent's composition, so the overall result is quite feminine and sugary-sweet.This review is for the old version. The new is pretty much the same, but more toned down. Still good, but lighter, brighter. I sprayed this perfume on last night and the only thing I could think of was "Holy crap, this smells like bug spray on me." I have hopes I can finish the bottle by the smell being somewhat better in warmer weather or being able to blend it with something else. But this did teach me something...I need to avoid fragrances with that note in it. At least I see that before making the mistake of buying something and having a full bottle I'll have to use for something. It’s a no from me on this one. It’s as if the fragrance can’t decide whether it’s a boozy patchouli perfume like Mauboussin or fruity berry scent like Midnight Fantasy.
