About this deal

Simple syrup - simple syrup is just a liquid suspension of sugar in water, for an easy way to lightly sweeten drinks without the fuss of stirring in sugar. Fox’s Kiln Distillery is fairly new in the gin industry. The creator of the gin brand, Jared Brown, started a microbrewery out of boredom in 2011, and later in 2019, he started distilling gin. As the name suggests, this is a gin distilled in Liverpool. In fact, the distillery is located on one of the original seven streets of Liverpool!

In a jug, combine the fruit, sugar syrup, gin and white wine. Cover the mixture and leave it in the fridge for at least an hour, ideally longer. Before serving, add plenty of ice and pink grapefruit soda and give it a good stir. UK Chief Medical Officers recommend men do not regularly exceed 3-4 units daily and women, 2-3 units daily There are many pink gins on the market this summer, but Malfy Gin Rosa is different and stands out with its juicy fresh pink grapefruit flavour. It has a long juniper finish and slight notes of tangy rhubarb. Sipped, Malfy Gin Con Arancia is a bit less literal than other gins in the line. While the lemon is lemon; the grapefruit is grapefruit— Malfy Gin Con Arancia is clementine, vanilla, grapefruit, terpey juniper. Like all gins on this list, this gin goes perfectly with a gin & tonic, but with some fresh orange juice, lime juice, and some runny honey, you can create an amazing Sicilian Sunset. 4. Fox’s Kiln Distillery Blood Orange GinIt is a flavoured gin that’s made by combining blood oranges with a gin base, usually a classic London Dry - scroll down to find our great guide to making your own at home! What does blood orange gin taste like? Along with the oranges are some herbal botanicals, making for a slightly fresher and more interesting flavor. This bottle of gin is not meant for the faint of heart. This is not just because it’s a strong drink, but the bottle itself is actually quite startling. The bottle has the model of a devil’s head, which is the main theme of the brand Fallen Angel. If there’s any gin brand you can always trust to deliver, it’s Tanqueray. From their signature London Dry Gin, all the way to this orange-flavored gin, Tanqueray always delivers! This is a truly wonderful gin that perfectly encapsulates summer in a bottle. The fresh flavors of mandarin, paired with the freshness of orange blossom make for a drink that will be unmissable in the summer.

These all come together to create a gin that’s a little richer and creamier than your typical orange-infused gin. This is partly attributed to the fact that this is an Old Tom Gin, but also due to the botanicals used. The base of this orange-flavored gin is a classic London Dry Gin, and this London Dry is combined with a syrup of raw cacao and orange peel. This way, you get a pure and rich taste that still has the qualities of an actual gin. When you take a sip of this gin, you’ll be met with coriander and juniper-forward flavor. This might not be what you expected, but don’t worry, the blood orange and fig will follow closely. G12 Grapefruit & Mandarin Gin is a gin that doesn’t actually focus on the orange fruit. However, the combination of the fresh and juicy grapefruit with the sweet and tangy mandarin makes for a flavor that’s extremely reminiscent of orange. The nose of Malfy Gin Con Arancia is a bit of a let down. It has a slightly plastic character with a bit of raw ethanol. I’d compare it to grabbing a pre-cut orange wrapped in plastic at the deli. It’s there, but it smells preserved.

Beefeater has been a staple in the gin industry since the opening of the first distillery in 1863. Beefeater’s gins are really popular and for good reason! Their London Dry gin is considered one of the best London dry gins out there by some people. Juniper has to be present in every gin, but there are no rules as to what other flavors you can add. Out of the many different flavors that are used, orange is a rather popular one. Other great mixers include ginger ale and classic tonic waters. The zesty ginger ale is a great match for the rich citrus notes of the gin and those same notes make for a delicious contrast to the crisp, delectably bitter palate of a tonic water. Greenall’s mixed two amazing botanicals with their Blood Orange And Fig gin. Pairing these relatively sweet and powerful botanicals with the classic base of juniper makes for a wonderful flavor experience. What sets Malfy Gin apart from other gins is its subtle citrus notes. Unlike other gins that are dominated by juniper and other herbal flavors, Malfy Gin has a refreshing lemony taste that pairs perfectly with a variety of mixers.

If you love tart, slightly sweet, lightly bitter summery drinks that are totally sippable and simple to mix up, you're going to love this pretty pink gin and tonic. Blood orange gin is fast becoming our new favourite thing and, with distilleries like Beefeater, Malfy Gin and Whitley Neill releasing their own versions, it’s obvious we aren’t the only ones. This gin has got some very strong and sweet orange notes. It’s recommended to drink with tonic or soda water, but it’s also a perfect gin to drink neat. Because the gin itself already has a ton of strong flavors, you don’t necessarily need to mix it. 8. J.J. Whitley Blood Orange Gin The Blood Orange & Ginger gin is made up of the base of their original gin, which consists of a unique blend of 11 botanicals. Among these 11 botanicals are bitter orange, lime, and grapefruit to name a few, making it a clean, crisp, and zesty spirit. Most blood orange gins are actually gin liqueurs (read about the difference between gin and gin liqueur), which basically means that the gin is a bit sweeter and seen as more refreshing compared to a normal gin. Tarquin says this spirit is meant to be served in a spritz, with prosecco, sparkling elderflower, and a large citrus wheel as a garnish. 10. St. Ives Blood Orange Gin
