Ok, let’s take a look at the best bike trailers for bicycle touring. Adventure CT1 Adventure CT1 bike trailer. The rear cargo net comes with all Coho XC trailers. It is an excellent accessory for the Coho XC. It held my tent and sleeping bags in place as we bumped along the forest roads. You already lug around enough weight when you’re bicycle touring. I’ve capped the trailer weight to 10kg because the below trailers have an adequate carrying capacity of 30kg+. Use caution when riding downhill with a trailer as the additional weight will require longer distances for braking. Our Verdict

The suspension is a simple coil spring, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. There’s a spring preload adjuster, but I haven’t had to touch it. It’s a stiff spring, so lighter loads will probably still bounce around a little, but with a 7′ tree strapped on board, the suspension worked like a champ to keep the wheel planted on the ground over rough, choppy bike paths, curbs and other poorly maintained street sections.
