This reset will unpair your remote from your TiVo Stream 4K and all other devices it is paired with. Sometimes you won’t be able to use your Virgin Media remote with your television depending on what brand it is – it tends not to work well with older models (some Toshiba users have reported issues). The first thing is to identify where the problem is coming from and proceed to find a viable solution.

Line of sight –Something else to check is whether your remote will work from a different position, as there may just be an issue with the angle that you’re pointing your remote at the box (they can be a bit temperamental). Once you’ve programmed your remote you’ll notice that the light on the top will flash green instead of red when using it for volume and mute control. If you have a V6 box, you'll need to set the standby settings on your box to either Connected Low Power or Always On for the Virgin TV Control to work. The Stream box isn’t like our regular TV boxes, but more like a small device that connects to your telly through an HDMI cable.
