While I tend to be critical with narrators and their voice changing James Lailey manages to bring this book to life without me even thinking about who is who and what voice he gives each character. Black heart managed also to flip the genre on its head in a very engaging and original way, at least in my opinion. How many people will either skip vast chunks of it, namely the chat room and Twitter streams, and just how many people will just give in on it.

When I was reading the book, I thought that it’s going to be another forgettable thriller that would fade from my memory with time and that’s why I gave it three stars: Decent but not that great.
