About this deal

Then Noah starts to see a different side of Rae Rose--she's Amelia: kindhearted and goofy, yet lonely from years in the public eye. He can't help but get close to her. Soon she'll have to return to her glamorous life on tour, but until then, Noah will show Amelia all the charming small-town experiences she's been missing, and she'll help him open his heart to more.

Their love had so many tropes like strangers to friends to lovers, dating practice and slow-ish burn. Sarah completely understood the assignment. Amid steamy practice dates and strictly 'educational' tutoring lessons, the lines of their friendship blur and Annie reconsiders what her 'dream guy' might look like. Maybe her love life doesn't need to be perfect - it just needs to be real. The majority of their communication was so honest and open (which I loved) especially on Wills end like yess we love a man who can ACTUALLY communicate. At first it did feel like insta love but I still ate it up as it didn’t feel cringey to me like most. The banter, the tension just everything in this book was fantastic and I cannot wait to read more from Sarah. . . A new favourite romance read that will have you grinning from start to end.’⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I also very much enjoy this author’s writing style. She fleshes out her characters and makes them feel so real, like I truly know them and their history, and I love the way she depicts the heart-wrenching scenes between Dunni and Obinna in such a way that they are intensely moving and realistic, but never melodramatic.

I dearly love this beautiful, emotional, important, and deeply romantic story! Will and Graham are unlike any couple I’ve read before—and they were exactly what I needed!! In a world where toxic relationships are too often celebrated, Chip Pons gave us a couple who know how to communicate and play and grieve and celebrate together. It was truly a joy to read!! The story is very character driven and has so many fantastic characters, including the side characters. It is told from the perspectives of both Rae and Noah, who are so much fun and very enjoyable to read about. I loved all of the banter between Noah and Rae and their slow-burn romance makes the book a perfect rom-com. ❀ Hallmark Vibes

This is supposedly based on the (wonderful) Audrey Hepburn movie “Roman Holiday,” and as someone who has watched that movie approximately 802 times, I’m confident in saying that’s an affront. Annie, is a flower shop owner and I found her to be so charming, relatable and humorous. But there's one thing she is not good at- dating. In comes, Will who is Amelia's bodyguard with tattoos 👀 . Will is sexy, confident and clearly has trust issues. But if there's someone he adores- it's Annie. Upon agreeing to help her practice her dating abilities, the two never realised that there could be something more. I loved Jane Igharo’s first two books so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her latest one, Where We End & Begin and was especially excited to see it was a second chance romance since that’s one of my favorite tropes.

Overall, When in Rome was just an all around delightful read for me. If you’re in the mood for a fun and heart-warming small-town romance filled with lovable quirky characters, this is the book for you! 4 STARS. The banter, the tension just everything in this book was fantastic and I cannot wait to read more from Sarah. . . A new favourite romance read that will have you grinning from start to end.'⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I giggled, sighed, laughed out loud, and even shed some tears. This book awakened so many emotions in me at the same time. Noah reluctantly lets her stay at his guest room. He knows he is in real trouble as soon as the woman in distress walks in her house. Because she’s famous, she’s beautiful and she’s gold hearted, lovely woman! His heart has already been broken by another city girl a few years ago. He cannot let that happen again. Sarah Adams’s books are woven with pure sunshine and rainbows.Perfect for fans of Abby Jimenez and R. S. Grey, When in Rome is a slice of delight that will leave you smilinguntil your face hurts. It’s everything you could want in a small-town romance, along with a heaping dollop of her signature wit and sparkling charm.” —Amy Lea, author of Set on You I really liked When in Rome last year and was so excited to see who’s book was going to be next. Annie’s story is full of joys and perfect for your romantic heart! I loved so many things about this book and hopefully you will too! i think the only thing that makes these small town books great are all the side characters, i literally LOVED mabel 🫶🏽i’m so tired of that narrative looping around me day in and day out. i’m tired of everyone so neatly placing me in a box and tying a silk ribbon around it and then telling me to sit and stay.” Small town romances are usually hit or miss for me because sometimes you end up loving the side characters more. In this case, I enjoyed the main characters but some of the side characters were questionable at first (Annie’s sisters felt like the only mean girls in the beginning) but they redeemed themselves. Also, do small towns really have the biggest gossipers?? They were really on Annie’s ass here lol
