The Wool Company's best-selling wool blanket . These pure new wool blankets are woven with a cellular weave that provides wonderful warmth without the weight. These British-made lightweight blankets are perfect for use all year round. Woven with a cellular weave that provides warmth without the weight by trapping the air within the weave structure. Bound on all sides with a traditional wide, satin-style ribbon trim. Dirt Repellent – the antistatic nature of wool reduces the attraction of lint and dust and the microscopic surface scales prevent dirt from penetrating the fibre surface. Anti Microbial – wool blankets are naturally anti-microbial due to the fibre protein composition and unique surface scale structure on which bacteria are unable to survive. Wool is nature’s own technical wonder fibre and has many inherent qualities that can't be reproduced by manmade fibres. These inherent qualities make wool the natural choice for a good night's sleep and the best part is they will not fade or wash out over time. Comfort – wool is comfortable due to its unique spring-like fibre structure. The natural crimp offers excellent support for all, as well as relief from bed sores and numerous other medical conditions.

Please note that the sizes of these blankets are specified to correctly fit UK standard bed sizes that have full-depth mattresses. A. Cellular blankets are not measured in togs because there are air holes throughout, however one layer can feel somewhere in-between 0.5 and 1 tog. Natural Flame Resistance – wool is naturally flame-resistant and self-extinguishing and doesn't melt, making for safer sleep and one of the few fibres that don't need coating in artificial flame-resistant chemicals.Many of our customers carefully hand or machine wash their wool blankets on a cool wool setting at 30℃ using wool-approved detergent, with no spin allow to dry naturally.
