About this deal

But the absolute best part was that extended epilogue! What a way to end it for the ENTIRE Winslow Family. All this one did was remind me why I generally don’t care for this author duo’s work. I think it’s a personal preference of mine, and I will truly reconsider reading anything else from them. There were so many things I loved about this book and I really want to be careful not to give too much away. But just know that Remington Winslow is the most generous man in the family. The way he steps up for Maria every single time, how he’s always there no matter what. How he seeks her out even when she’s trying to do things on her own. I loved that even though Maria wants to do things on her own and probably can, Remy still gives her the opportunity to not do it all. He never belittles her need to have control over every minute of her life, he just encourages her to take it a little easier. And Maria, what a strong character. She’s been through so much and lost even more, but she’s still got her head held high and she’s powering through. Maria’s job has always come first and her struggle to find the balance between her old life and the new one really shakes her up. But she does it and I admired her for it. It's official. I've gone and fallen for another Winslow brother. Remy is the definition of swoon, and I couldn't get enough of him. You can't help but feel there's some divine intervention, fate, or some kind of magic at play here in this series... and you know, I'm all for it. And that Maria, she is such a strong heroine. Despite all the hardships she's faced on her own, she's a successful business woman and about to become a mom. It's not easy for her to let someone in. But Remy makes it nearly impossible not to.

He's the jaded guy who doesn't want to settle down, and I'm the career-focused woman with more baggage than a 747 can hold. We're just two friends who used to be in love. Did I spend my Wednesday shirking all responsibilities and reading this book? You bet I did. And I have zero regrets. Because Max Monroe definitely saved the swooniest and the best of the brothers for the end. Though, to be fair, I love Flynn (from The Pact) the most still, but Remy is almost sharing that spot. This book made me laugh, sigh and just swoon a whole lot and that’s exactly what I love about Max Monroe’s books. You’re so rarely bored! Fire heroine—awkwardly lovable and relatable, Vasovagal Syncope warrior with an adorable service dog named Benji Max Monroe basically wrote this book for me with all the tropes and swoons. I’m a big fan of lovers friends so obviously that was my thing. And then add in one of my all-time favorite tropes, second chances, and I’m basically like putty on his hands. I read and loved all of the Winslow brothers when their books came out and was always very curious about Remy because he missed Cleo and her fortune telling all those years ago. And I felt so bad, I wanted to protect him. This is the fourth and final book in the Winslow Brother series and it was like coming home. At this point in the series we all got to know them very well, but there was this great sense of comfort in finally learning the story of older brother Remy.No information has been discovered to prove or disprove these rumors. In fact, there is nothing at the moment to suggest that Max Monroe is a pair of ladies. At the moment, people only know what Max Monroe has decided to reveal to them, which isn’t much. So, just consider this a warning. A big warning. THE REDO is going to make you laugh your booty off, but it will also hit you directly in the feels and give you the overwhelming urge to take your clothes off. Use caution when reading this book in front of others. Remy and Maria reconnecting at the current times in their lives was really cool. I loved that initial seeing each other again for the first time moment and how everything thing progressed from there. There was a lot to work through from Maria’s pregnancy and motherhood to Remy’s avoidance of relationships. Through it all my favorite thing was how Remy and Maria took care of each other and eventually Izzy. Those Izzy moments were especially special to me and reminded me a bit of seeing my husband become a father. *Sigh*

He never downplays her need to be in control of every minute of her life, he just encourages her to take it easy. And Maria, what a strong character. He’s been through a lot and lost even more, but he still keeps his head up and overcomes. Maria’s work has always come first and her struggle to find a balance between her old life and her new life really shakes her. But she does, and I admire her for it. On the other hand, you have a handsome, adrenaline junkie of a billionaire who always gets what he wants. The first book in the billionaire bad boys novels tends to divide audiences. Kline doesn’t make the best hero. Physically, he seems to fit the bill. But the idea of a humble billionaire who lives in a one bedroom apartment and pursues a normal life makes little sense to readers of the romance genre.

i don’t know if its just a cultural thing, or a book-world thing, but if a baby’s parents are dead, and you are carrying their baby (never knew that was a thing before some celebrity did it tbh & i dunno seems fishy just renting out your uterus?), does the baby not have aunts, cousins, other family that YOU could go to just because they are unable to come to you?? ever thought of that maria? hmm 🙂 I cannot gush enough about this book, but I will try to keep it brief because this is a must romcom read!!! Remy and Maria, with their shared history, are clearly the perfect match. I adore their story for so many reasons, but the ones that come to mind first is that it's their second chance! Gah, I love second chance romances and when this writing duo added in witty banter, outright laugh riot text threads, and a sweet baby? My heart was firmly in their grip. I was team Remy + Maria all the way from the book description. You see, he was left at the alter all those years ago. And is now anti-commitment. He's pretty broody about it. But when he gets trapped in an elevator with his ol' high school sweetheart, a connection is rekindled, and tunes seem to be changing. Even if Maria happens to be 8 months pregnant... Needless to say, my current status isthorny. And no, I didn’t miss how close that word is to another one. Each author had also written more than fifteen novels during their career. Being best friends, it occurred to the ladies one random day that they could garner even greater success by combining their efforts and writing as a team. i expected more banter between the winslows, i got a sob story in return. i thought there’d be some serious grovelling, it was the slowest of burns. i didnt expect remy and cleo to be bffs, but they are and that’s so funny to me.
