About this deal

To properly clean and maintain your Sage Precision Brewer, follow these simple steps: 1. Empty the filter basket The integrated coffee grinder should be cleaned regularly so old grounds don’t build up. You can use a brush and some vacuum cleaner to clean the chute and hopper, followed by wiping down with a damp cloth. 5. Clean the drip tray The Oracle Touch sits at the very top of the range but we have not included it in our recommendations because in our opinion it is just too expensive for what you get. The Sage coffee machines you can find are from the following ranges: Bambino, Oracle, Barista, Duo and Precision Brewers. Most devices will come with a built-in coffee grinder but if it doesn’t, you’ll need to buy one to grind your beans or you can buy pre-ground beans to use in it. The Over Ice setting compensates for brewing hot coffee over ice by making a stronger brew, whereas the Cold Brew setting is designed to run overnight to produce a delicious and smooth cold brew coffee.

If this is the level at which your budget stops we would recommend The Bambino Plus over the Duo Temp Pro. Firstly the bambino plus has an option for you to choose the milk temperature and essentially lets you automatically texture the milk. There is a choice of 3 products when you step up from the entry-level to the mid-range and Sage have named them all “Barista” Remove the portafilter from the group head and soak it in a solution of warm water and a mild dishwashing liquid. Place all other removable pieces (like the filter baskets, spouts, drip tray, etc.) into your sink filled with warm soapy water and let them sit for about 10 minutes. 3. Rinse and dry all parts

Taste-wise, it’s good and worth the money. We particularly liked the Gold setting. The coffee tastes very clean and doesn’t have as much body as other ways of brewing coffee (e.g., a French press). However, it was still a delicious cup that was both flavoursome and smooth. These additional options are a nice to have but are you willing to pay hundreds of pounds for them? You can make a fully informed decision as the review for The Barista Pro makes a number of comparisons versus the Barista Express.
