The gin is a London Dry style, and the bottle features The rowan tree, native to the UK and most commonly found in the Highlands of Scotland, is prominent in folklore and was thought to provide protection from enchantment. It was our pleasure to attend the launch of another new Scottish Gin, one that is inspired by and celebrates the iconic Scottish peal, Ben Lomond. There’s so much variety in what’s around the places these gins are made, you get something unique to the area that really celebrates where it comes from. Our personalised gin would make the perfect gift for birthdays, weddings or any occasion for all gin lovers. Tasting, to an extent it follows the nose, but with everything just that little bit more pronounced. On the nose, you get juniper of course, but you also absolutely get a hefty waft of berries from those signature botanicals which, along with the orange, add a slightly sweeter note than you’d often get in a dry gin from citrus alone.
