Towards the Within tells the story of Sam, a young man who embarks on a journey to India to escape his normal life in England. It could have been anywhere, but the mystique of Asia and India in particular attracted Sam who was looking for a new adventure. After this rather short and easy mission 2, we will be treated with a gigantic and challenging mission 3. Some of the level 15 skills/magics are vital to your initial success. It is a good idea to save up at least 2 ability points in this mission until Level 15, so you can grab Summon Earth Elemental and Meditation, and maybe Time Stasis as soon as you hit Level 15. Then you are bullet proof!

Second, as Stern ( Reference Stern2012: 53) has cogently argued, ancient calendars provided a way for political elites to legitimise power: who makes time makes power (Meller et al. Reference Meller, Reichenberger, Risch, Meller, Reichenberger and Risch2021). Not only did elites control people and life on earth, but they also controlled the cosmos by using epagomenal days and leap-days to harmonise time with the workings of the universe. This idea resonates with ethnographic work by Hayden and Villeneuve ( Reference Hayden and Villeneuve2011) on the religio-political context of astronomy and timekeeping amongst complex hunter-gatherer societies.

Toward the Within is the first live album by Australian band Dead Can Dance, released on 24 October 1994 by 4AD. It contains 15 songs, of which only four appeared on their previous albums, and two of which were later re-recorded and included on Lisa Gerrard's first solo album, The Mirror Pool. The others previously existed only in live performances and unofficial bootlegs, but were not officially released until Toward the Within. Along with Perry and Gerrard were a number of musicians who had performed with them on other occasions. As Anastasya heads towards her dream doppelganger, she has a vision of herself standing over her unconscious body, with Jorgen at her side, when Miranda breaks in with a dozen Vampire guards at her side, causing Jorgen to cast a spell.
