About this deal

I didn’t know what to expect going into this one but I saw Jane take part in one of my favourite podcasts and Youtube channels, Pod Save America/Crooked Media, and couldn’t resist listening to the audiobook, narrated by Jane Fonda herself. Some of our partners may process your data as a part of their legitimate business interest without asking for consent. I think she stresses this several times in the book and perhaps it is because she is saying Solidarity is what it's going to take for us to overcome the forces of resistance.

Also arrested were actors such as Ted Danson, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterston, Susan Sarandon, and Rosanna Arquette. The book provides repeated reminders that indigenous people all over the world have been fighting for climate justice since colonization, and they continue to lead the fight against fossil fuel extraction, water contamination, and many other harms.Every chapter tackles a component of the environmental devastation we are seeing today: rapid deforestation, desertification, increasing and intensifying hurricanes, much of it wrought by the word’s addiction to petroleum. She doesn't gloss over thier struggles or thier fights with political change, she flat out says what's happening and lists ways to support communities.
