About this deal

The story is full of suspenseful moments that will keep readers on their toes throughout the entire series. I really love how Touka teaches Ken through comparison. Her reactions to everything is from the POV of a ghoul, and they contrast Ken's POV as an ex-human. We see that she feels just as keenly to lose someone she knows. That she feels impotent and must act despite the consequences. It really builds sympathy in Ken but also the reader as we consider that the monsters on the other side might just be trying to survive as well and feel as strongly as a human does. To that end I like that neither the ghoul or the human side is positioned as the villains of the Tokyo Ghoul series. No there are good and bad on both sides. A: Tokyo Ghoul Vol 3 is about Ken Kaneki’s struggle to survive in a hostile human world populated by ghouls like himself. Along with his allies, he must fight for a place to live while also dealing with themes of morality and identity throughout the story.

Shy Ken Kaneki is thrilled to go on a date with the beautiful Rize. But it turns out that she’s only interested in his body—eating it, that is. When a morally questionable rescue transforms him into the first half-human half-Ghoul hybrid, Ken is drawn into the dark and violent world of Ghouls, which exists alongside our own. Tokyo Ghoul: re, Vol. 2 is the second volume of the Tokyo Ghoul manga series, written and illustrated by Sui Ishida. This volume follows the story of Ken Kaneki as he continues his struggle against the ghouls of Tokyo. The story is full of intense action and thrilling suspense, and readers will be captivated by every twist and turn. With stunning artwork and a gripping narrative, this volume is sure to be a hit with fans of the series. A: This manga series is rated T for Teen which means it may contain violent or suggestive themes that may not be suitable for younger readers. Parents should use their own discretion when deciding if this series is age appropriate for their children or not. I'm surprised to be saying this but I will be continuing to read the series after Tokyo Ghoul vol 2. I want to get the full sense of Ken and see how he grows into being a ghoul and what humanity he retains in such a brutal and harsh world. To say this is an epic journey is to look forward to the journey the Tokyo Ghoul series just very barely reveals in the first two volumes!Sui Ishida’s writing style is engaging and captivating. He manages to capture both the horror elements of living as a ghoul while also highlighting the human aspects of Ken’s journey. His writing creates an atmosphere that draws readers in from start to finish, making it hard not to get invested in the characters’ lives. A: Absolutely! The art was much the same as Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 1—that is to say, pretty good—and, noticeably, the action art was slightly more readable this time, so there was some improvement on that front. Customer reviews

This volume skilfully turned the tables, going quite a ways towards humanising ghouls and dehumanising humans through the inclusion of the new characters: the government agents, aka the doves. Interestingly, despite the doves’ hypocritical stance on justice and having no qualms about killing ghouls that are technically children, the manga didn’t shy away from exploring this or attempt to do it half-heartedly, instead it gave the main investigator, Amon, a solid and relevant motivation for his actions. This was confusing to say the least as that meant there wasn’t a clear antagonist, but that also worked in this vol’s favour because it really makes the reader think and engage with the content. Its visuals are stunning, bringing to life the dark and gritty world of Tokyo Ghoul in a visually stunning way. Buying Guide for tokyo ghoul vol 2 With the start of what is sure to be a constant moral conundrum, this volume delved deeper into the world of Tokyo’s ghouls, exploring not only how they operated, but also the conflicts and dangers they faced.

A: Yes! Theres plenty of action and suspense throughout this volume, making it an exciting read from start to finish that will keep fans engaged until the end! The character relationships are complex and well-developed, making it easy to become invested in each character’s journey.
