Honeyed sweetness and dark raisin notes. Balanced off by some bitter tannins and oak spice. More of that chocolate orange note. B and B-: Good and above average. The best of the mass market whiskeys fit in this category, as do the bulk of the premium brands. A B- is three stars. The palate is brimming with flavour. More oranges and a slight hint of burnt oak appear. These are warming and homely, offering a really easy going flavour.
