About this deal

User Friendly– For more enjoyable and effortless cleaning, this model includes a quiet motor pump, extendable handle, larger wheels, and 7m hose. In the UK Karcher is one of the leading brands when it comes to electric pressure washers, however, next to them you will also find models from other brands such as Bosch and Nilfisk. Another difference is the weight. If you’re looking for a large and in charge pressure washer, you’ll definitely want to go with Karcher. If you prefer something that is lightweight, you’ll be better off with a Bosch pressure washer. Pretty much every Bosch pressure washer is going to weigh less than 9 kg. With Karcher, the weights are almost always above that limit (unless you go for the K2 models).

The good news is that both companies make pressure washers with wheels (apart from the Karcher K2 Compact and Bosch EasyAquatak range). Therefore, mobility won’t be an issue either way. Hose Length When it comes to motor power, generally this increases with how much you spend any move up the model range (it will also give you more pressure and water flow). Karcher and Bosch motor power outputs are generally the same for each comparable model, although Bosch tries to get ahead by providing an extra 0.1kW, not that you’ll notice this.

Most Bosch models have a 1m longer hose than there Karcher equivalents but you can only get a 10m hose on a Karcher (the very high-end K7). Warranty When you’ve decided that it is time to invest in a new pressure washer, you’ll first want to select a reliable brand. Karcher and Bosch tend to be two of the leading brands in the industry (along with Nilfisk). They both offer rugged pressure washers that will withstand most cleaning tasks. When cleaning vertical surfaces, apply the detergent from bottom to top. When rinsing off, work from top to bottom.

It's easy to move the pressure washer to where you need it by lifting it using the large handle on top of the machine. It has large wheels so you can also pull it along. The handle is extendable for complete ease of use, so even if you're tall like I am, it's easy to reach down for the handle and pull it along behind you. Don't try and pull it by the hose as you could risk damaging the attachment, plus it could topple over and damage the main body of the machine. One of the biggest differences associated with Karcher and Bosch pressure washers is the LCD display on the trigger gun. The high-end Karcher K5 & K7 Premium Full Control Plus Home (a simpler version is also available on the Karcher K4 Full Control) have this feature, Bosch machines do not.

The pressure washer can be used for a variety of cleaning tasks, from removing dirt and grime from patios and garden furniture to washing cars and motorcycles. Its compact form factor makes it easy to store when not in use. Having a longer hose is undoubtedly very beneficial for being able to leave the pressure washer in one place while cleaning. Karcher hose lengths range from 4m (most K2 models) to 10m (K7 only), the mid-range K4 models have a 6m hose. Excluding the compact EasyAquatak range, which have a short hose length of 3m, Bosch hoses run from 5m to 8m. Weighing in at 7900 grams, the Bosch UniversalAquatak 135 is a heavy-duty device that delivers powerful cleaning performance. It comes with a 5-meter cable, making it easy to maneuver around. The device is built with premium materials and is designed for durability and reliability over time. When buying a pressure washer no matter what the budget you want something that is well built, reliable and that will last. For both makes it doesn’t matter if you have an entry-level model or the most expensive in the range, the general build and quality of parts reminds the same from what we can tell. So in terms of price, the more expensive doesn’t mean better quality and longer-lasting pressure washer in parts. When storing the Bosch Universal Aquatak 135 pressure washer, you need to make sure that you don't place the main body of the pressure washer on top of any of the cables, or twist the high pressure hose either as this could permanently damage it. Added Convenience– With push-fit connections, in-use gun storage, and a detergent nozzle, your cleaning experience is made easier than ever before.

The Karcher K4 has a ‘Full Control” trigger spray but this only shows you what you have adjusted the lance setting to (you probably know as you have just done it). The Bosch has a simpler “3-in-1” trigger that adjusts between fan, rotary and pencil spray. Both pressure washers pretty much do the same thing but we think the lance set-up on the Karcher is a neater solution. However, there are many differences between Karcher and Bosch pressure washers. Below, you’ll learn more about these differences so you can find the right pressure washer for you. Differences Between Karcher and Bosch Pressure Washers Motor Power With its quiet motor pump, the Bosch Aquatak 135 won't disturb the neighbours. Push-fit connections and in-use gun storage make it extremely easy to use. When your cleaning task is finished, the integrated storage system allows you to stow accessories tidily. A clear water filter ensures easy maintenance and protection for the pump, ensuring many seasons of effective use. The pressure washer is also capable of self-priming from an external source of water. It can even be filled from a rainwater tank. Electric Pressure Washers Versatile Cleaning– The Aquatak 135 includes a trio Nozzle with fan, rotary, and pencil jet settings. Perfect for a variety of cleaning tasks around the home. If you haven't used a pressure washer a great deal, then it's quite easy to get the hang of it. However, there are a few things I learned the hard way about how to use a pressure washer. It’s hard to find fault with this power washer. If we had to be critical, perhaps this would come in the form of the use of artificial intelligence in creating all of its products, or at least assisting in reducing the amount of available jobs for humans. Simultaneously however, Bosch does seem to have considered this with the amount of associates it employs globally being just short of 400,000. Both companies include 2-3 year warranty on their pressure washers and with Karcher premium models the warranty included can be up to 5 years which is worth the extra investment. Depending on the model a Bosch pressure washer is generally better than the equivalent Karcher model.
