One For the Ages is a fantastic addition to this excellent series by J. D. Kirk. I enjoy reading books in this series, and One For The Ages did not disappoint. I had trouble putting this book down. I love J. D. Kirk's portrayal of his characters and how they interact throughout this book. One For The Ages is well-written and researched by J. D. Kirk. I like J. D. Kirk's description of the settings of One For The Ages, which allowed me to imagine being part of the book's plot. SEC Network launched #HomeSchoolSpirit this week, a new initiative as part of its “We Love It Here” brand campaign. SEC fans are encouraged to post photos and videos on social media with the hashtag #HomeSchoolSpirit to display how they’ve kept their SEC fandom going while staying at home. Fast paced thriller that had me absolutely creased in parts. One thing I love about this series is the humour within the books. I really enjoyed seeing some of the older characters in the series return in this one (Heather and my favourite, Hoon). However, I did struggle with Heather’s storyline as I couldn’t remember what had happened to her in the last book and there’s not enough information in One For The Ages for you to know without having re-read the previous instalment. I really enjoyed this one and found it hard to put down. I absolutely loved the ending. I cannot wait for the next book of the series, In Service of Death and see how everything plays out!Granted I LOVE dark sarcastic humor, so the author has that on his side, then I also LOVE long dark drives down dimly lit pathway’s, or as most would call them, red herrings & seeing as I have a swimming pool, Olympic size no less full of little red fishies I thought we could be a good match. J.D. Kirk has me laughing out loud at some of the most ridiculous scenes that play out in these books and I love it. Simultaneously some of the goriest things happen as well… so you laugh… you cringe… sometimes you cry (I didn’t cry in this one… stop asking 🤣).
