About this deal

If you don't want to worry about getting on the endless turntable upgrade train, if you just want to play records, then a set-and-forget model is what you should get. br>
Built-in phono pre-amp for universal connection
With a phono pre-amp built-in, the AT-LP60XUSB connects to almost any Hi-Fi or speaker system.

Very simple to set up and use - clear and open sound - a perfect quality starter turntable for my 14-year old daughter! The main issue with the Victrola, by the way, wasn't the sound or its solid features (Bluetooth, headphone out, onboard speaker), but that it was easy to damage the record with the lid attached.I enjoyed a bunch of different recordings on the Audio-Technica but it's weighty bass response worked best with harder styles like rock and dance. That said, the AT-LP60X is still an entry-level turntable, and it won’t sound as good as audiophile turntables. Note: After installation, please allow the Super Vivid belt to settle by playing it for 10-15 minutes.

It doesn’t include Bluetooth, so it must be connected to a receiver or powered speakers with a traditional signal cable. But, if you’re just an extremely casual vinyl fan, or you’re just wanting to dip your toe in the vinyl waters, the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X turntable is a fantastic deal. With it’s fully automatic functionality, it’s plug and play design (thanks to a built a phono preamp) and the various colors the record player comes in, the AT-LP60X is a perfect option for any beginner that values convenience in the world of vinyl.

With the size and rotation speed of the record set, all you need do is place it on the platter and press the start button. You will need more expensive gear before the limitations of the Bluetooth protocol starts to reduce the sound quality noticeably.

We offer the most extensive universe of high quality replacement styli and turntable belts on the planet! Often the percussion gets lost towards the back of a mix, which also leads to a loss of drive and rhythmic intensity. jack, which is unusual -- but an included adapter can convert it to the more standard stereo RCA cable. It isn’t particularly insightful when playing more intimate acoustic tracks or sparse ambient productions, but has real trouble when arrangements are decidedly denser. And you don’t have to worry about being distracted and leaving the needle endlessly spinning in the inner grooves.

Let’s first talk about the the tonearm on the LP60X, which has an upgraded base and headshell design. The AT-LP60XBT plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and comes with a 45 RPM adapter, a detachable dual RCA output cable (for wired connection) and a removable hinged dust cover. With a Cambridge Audio Duo connected, the bass firmed up and the upper registers came into a clearer focus. If you wonder why I have removed the dustcover in all the pictures, that is because turntables sound better with the dustcover off. Registered Office: 4th - 6th floor Wellington Buildings, 2-4 Wellington Street, Belfast, BT1 6HT (Northern Ireland - company number NI032565). And lastly, the AT-LP60XHP that has a headphone output with volume control and comes with headphones included.
