The Launchpad is compatible with all versions of Live (Intro/Standard/Suite) and comes bundled with a free license for Ableton Live Lite. The Launchpad Pro also has a DC power connection and MIDI I/O to be used as a standalone device with other hardware. Connect the Launchpad to your computer and start Live. In one of the available Control Surface choosers, selectthe Launchpad which matches your device. Please note: The MK2 and Pro have their own listings, for the MK1, Mini, and S use the "Launchpad" option. The Launchpad Mini MK3 and Launchpad X also feature RGB pads. Both of these Launchpads use a USB-C port. In the box, you’ll get a USB-C to A cable. Both have the option of setting brightness and customisation through Components (see our guide HERE). You can store up to 3 custom modes.In Logic Pro 10.6, Launchpad X and Launchpad Mini [MK3] devices no longer need to be rotated to properly display the Live Loops grid, as was required in v10.5. However, there are orientation options in Logic’s settings that allow you to choose vertical or rotated arrangement, to suit your preference. This flexibility provides a much more cohesive experience, allowing you to seamlessly jump between different modes.
