About this deal

Finally I replaced my G6 due to problems with the drivers and because I wanted a better-looking DAC with multiple inputs (the G6 has both USB and mini-Toslink inputs but only one works at a time and you can't switch manually between them). So I bought a Topping E30 to test. And, oh boy was it good. The main difficulty these run into is the existence of the HD600 and HD6XX, though it can in either case, be an addition.

I finally got my hands on a 58X thanks to a cousin of mine who decided he was tired of his baby messing around with the cables and ruining his life. The HD6XX will appeal more for those who love its more warm and rich tone. The HD6XX was not my cup of tea as I like a little more treble, but some people obviously love those. This, in addition to comfort, are what makes the 58X perfect for long listening or mixing sessions. Reference It’s only when you stop being a shallow insensitive douchecanoe do your preconceived notions of attraction fly out the window.

The headband adjuster is sturdy and long, so there shouldn’t be issues with fit for these headphones you’ll notice the mid-range tends to jump out at you more so than a 560S, and vocals, in particular, can sound a bit gruff and almost overly forward. I started to use the HD58X with a Sound BlasterX G6, which is a very neutral and linear amp. The sound was great, I found it to be really enjoyable. The distinction from headphone to headphone is kind of subtle, but I’d probably take the 58X or K702 for film over the others. It may not tonally superior to an original HD600, and it’s certainly not tuned as well as a 560S, but none of that really matters much as it could be more enticing to a newbie audiophile (plus, it sounds great and that’s really all that matters at the end of the day). In other words, Speakers: Elac Debut Reference DBR-62, Buchardt s400, Kef Q150, Wharfedale Diamond 225, SVS-SB1000 subwoofer

There are certainly better headphones that resolve more (at higher or much higher prices), but these are good especially considering the aggressive price. It's a headphone that sounds good (not excellent), and suits general use with music, gaming, watching youtube. Anyone ready to make the jump from listening while commuting to listening for enjoyment. Sure, the Bose QuietComfort 45 and Sony WH-1000XM5 are great for outside the home, but there’s something about the Jubilee that makes it a joy to actually listen to your music, rather than have it serve as a distraction. The 58X may actually be better because it has that spicy flavor that makes the film more lively and engaging. Well, that’s about it for today my friend! I hope you’ve enjoyed this Sennheiser HD58X Review/Shootout and came away with some valuable insight. Source(s): Spotify Premium, Soundcloud, YouTube, General Listening (Podcasts, Baseball game recaps, etc.)After around a month of use with these headphones for various different use cases, I’m definitely ready to give my review on these. I’ve mainly used these for music, as well as music Production. so if you’re OCD like me or @Metal571, you’ll have to collapse both into their starting positions and then count, sort of like this: There is not too much to add to the description of the HD6XX, because besides the sonic similarities they share the structural ones.
