If you’re not that aware of how the game goes, there will be a tutorial at the beginning of Addams Family: Mystery Mansion game. You can use this to learn more about the basics of gameplay.
The peices that you need to put together the doll house are part of the "surprises" which made putting it together very unorganized and easy to loose. My suggestion would be to let the child/ren open the surprises and placing the elevator, glass cube looking peices and stairs for the build. It wasn't hard to put together but it took a very long time. I do not suggest attempting to put this together after the kids go to bed on Christmas eve to make it a surprise on Christmas morning, you will be up all night! The box is GIANT so that was impressive enough to get the wow when she came downstairs.
