About this deal

FitzChivalry Farseer and the Fool return in this final volume of the Farseer Trilogy, crowning the celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Robin Hobb’s legendary series. The matched trilogy is now complete, rounded out by Assassin’s Quest, which contains ten full-colour illustrations by Magali Villeneuve. Step into the spellbinding finale of this modern classic of epic fantasy, replete with adventure, magic, treachery, and sacrifice.

Upon reading this conclusion, I'm definitely torn. I'm glad to have finished this trilogy, as it is surely a story worth reading. I've grown close to Fitz, Nighteyes, & The Fool (along with a couple other characters), and I enjoy the world Hobb has created here. Having been resurected from his fatal tortures in Regal's dungeons, Fitz has once more foiled the Prince's attempts to be rid of him.

Putting on the robes

You can’t even imagine what you’ve taken away from me. I should be dead, but you wouldn’t let me die. All with the best of intentions, always believing you were doing what was right, no matter how it hurt me. But who gave you that right over me? Who decreed you could do this to me?” I, quite honestly, also found the ending to be a little disappointing... I wasn't emotional about any of it at all, but I suppose it was interesting how we got to that point. I enjoyed the unfolding of information and seeing the revelations, I just wish I was more emotionally attached to it. The second, whose name isn't even important enough for me to remember, is part of a travelling caravan that Fitz briefly joins. He is momentarily tempted by her offer, but eventually declines out of loyalty to Molly. When thwarted, this girl threatens to go to the caravan leader with her suspicions that Fitz is the Farseer Bastard King Regal is searching for. So to put it plainly, she's a piece of shit. I would thoroughly recommend the Farseer Trilogy to everybody and hope that you get as much enjoyment out of them as I did. Time to buy The Liveship Traders now! Oh, my boy, my boy, I believed you were dead. When Burrich sent me word he had found your body, I thought my heart would break. The words we had when last we parted … but here you are, alive if not well.”

Considerable time is spent within the mind of a beleaguered narrator, and much of the action takes place in a metaphysical planeThe choice was simple. Be a wolf, with no past, no future, only today. Or a man, twisted by his past, whose heart pumped fear with his blood.” Death is always at the edge of now. Nighteyes’ thought was gentle. Death stalks us, and he is ever sure of his kill. It is not a thing to dwell on, but it is something we all know, in our guts and bones. All save humans.” Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR is out now for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest Pro, giving players the opportunity to embody a Master Assassin in virtual reality. A fully realized Assassin’s Creed game with open maps and free exploration, Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR lets players take on the roles of Ezio Auditore, Kassandra, and Connor in all-new adventures featuring first-person stealth, parkour, combat, and Leaps of Faith through Renaissance Italy, Ancient Greece, and colonial America. Abstergo Industries has found a way to retrieve lost artifacts used to manipulate people’s beliefs, but it's our job to sabotage their plan and uncover all-new stories as three of the franchise's most popular assassins, Ezio, Connor, and Kassandra. As far as the story goes, that’s just about all we know about what makes up the Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR story.
