About this deal

But fans of Sweet Reincarnation want to know if this show will still get a season 2. Here is everything we know so far. So, nice reincarnation.... Think the series will be about cooking? You think it's going to be a battle of talented chefs and the place of their battle will be the dining room? No, it's politics again. We already have enough politics in real life, and now in a cute anime about a little boy with the soul of a grown man...... That's fine. His life would not be as sweet as his treats, though, as he encountered unfamiliar hardships in the magical world. To get one step closer to his lifelong desire, Pastry must learn how to fight, utilizing his confectionary knowledge and discovering magic along the way. This show's main focus is about managing (and developing) his lands with the help of isekai tropes and a few baking puns. The plan is to eventually get rich/resourceful enough to provide for his baking needs. As with most Isekai, this is also filled with tropes. The characters are really boring. MC is OP (although he rarely uses his OP skill) and is a smoother talker who can negotiate/deal

Pas, determined to create the world's greatest sweets, faces challenges due to scarce ingredients and an impending bandit threat. The blend of pastry-making and magic adds a unique twist to the story, and Pas' growth as both a chef and a fighter is engaging to watch.

In August 2022, it was announced that the series would receive an anime television series adaptation. The series is produced by SynergySP, with cooperation from Studio Comet, and directed by Naoyuki Kuzuya, with scripts written by Mitsutaka Hirota, character designs handled by Tomoko Miyakawa, and music composed by Hiroshi Nakamura. It premiered on July 4, 2023, on TV Tokyo and other networks. The opening theme song is "Brand New Day" by Sana from Sajou no Hana, while the ending theme song is "Fūmizekka" (風味絶佳, "Delicious Taste") by YuNi. Crunchyroll licensed the series. Unlike other protagonists of this season’s isekai ilk, the reincarnated pastry chief who died after being crushed by his own cake (no, seriously, that’s how he dies) and now is the nine-year-old son of a noble lord

For anime specifically about baking, there's Bonjour♪Sweet Love Patisserie, Dream-Colored Pâtissière, and even the short Pan de Peace!, with each episode only lasting around three minutes. There are countless anime and manga focused on learning to cook, running a café, cooking in the outdoors, and more. Housekeeping Mage from Another World is a delightful manga and light novel series about an indispensable adventurer who specializes not in fighting or healing, but in preparing delicious meals, hot baths, and fresh laundry, all while on the road. Then there are the series that aren't even related to cooking or baking but have a great deal of it, such as My Next Life as a Villainess!, whose main character is obsessed with sweet treats. Okashi na Tensei is a light-hearted and enjoyable anime about a young boy who is reincarnated into a world of swords and magic with a dream of becoming a great patissier. The anime follows Pas as he learns to bake sweets, make friends, and fight to defend his land. Producers - Gai Minegishi, Hisato Usui, Ryosuke Ohno, Kozue Kaniwa, Daisuke Aramaki, Akihiro Togawa, Takuto Murakami, Fumihiro Ozawa The story is pretty simple as it is your usual good old isekai story where the mc gets reincarnated into a new world. While being a pastry chef in his previous life he now gets reincarnated as a poor noble's son and decides to make a land of sweets.a b Pineda, Rafael Antonio (August 5, 2022). A lighter, unpretentious anime that won me over in the first few episodes but, in my opinion, had a (small) drop in the second half. Sweet Reincarnation talks about, in a superficial way, sweets and conflicts. Confusing, I know... But it's in this confusion that you find some good characters and narratives that leave you with various expectations. Let's say the protagonist has a goal in mind; make your dream come true. However, there are obstacles in the way and until it resolves external conflicts — there are practically Okashi na Tensei: Saikyou Pâtissier Isekai Kourin "Short Story" ─ Web novel at Shōsetsuka ni Narō (in Japanese)

Sweet Reincarnation” will go on sale later this year as a single Blu-ray & DVD BOX set on December 22, 2023. So, if the Blu-ray sales do good, a sequel might be possible. However, sales of the source are not the only factor in canceling or renewing an anime series. Another goal of an anime adaptation is for the animation studio to earn good from it. The primary source of earnings for studios is from the official Blu-ray sales.Avoidance of some major tropes/clichés: While the story has tropes in it, it too has avoided some major tropes. The first one is that they avoided inserting a Harem trope. I was worried the whole time while reading the manga that they suddenly does not introduce a love interest thus starting the building of Harem. But fortunately the author didn't opt for the trope and instead gave him a fiancé at the early stages of manga thus calming my worry. no internal conflicts — it is not possible to achieve its true objectives. My expectations were based precisely on the reward of seeing it accomplished and bringing a little joy to this world by doing what I do best: sweets. But this is not such an obvious anime and it definitely surprised me with the way it explored several other characters and situations (somewhat) unrelated to the patissier. I would say it's only worth it if you really like sweets and symbolism geared towards that — something like the contrast of sweetness in relation to the conflicting and bitter part of life — or if you're interested in continuing with the written material. I'm hoping for a second season or OVAs, but only with expectations and little fulfillment with what happens in this first season. and candies. And they too are not explained. In a cooking manga you expect the manga to let you experience the world of cooking, indulge in its the process and lastly savor your eyes on the end products while all that in an easy to understand manner. But this manga fails to do so. Cooking is more of a subplot just to rake in more readers.
