About this deal

Interesting features on the Mach include a flip-up sight on top, and a trigger safety on the left side. This blaster also has one short attachment rail on top, and a much longer one on the bottom. Performance The insides are what you’d expect, with large motors and flywheels, and an agitator system like you’d see in the Nemesis (but for Hyper). A common issue with all the Nerf Hyper guns is that the ammo is a little gummy and can clog a bit in the hoppers. Rival blasters have some similar issues with jams in the hoppers, but it isn’t quite as bad. Additionally, your ammo needs to be durable. Not only does it need to be able to physically survive high speeds, but it also needs to be stable enough at those speeds. The Mach-100, in my testing, averaged 108fps, just shy of the advertised 110fps. However, this was on single shots; fully automatic fire bogs down the flywheel motors quite a bit. Rate of fire, meanwhile, averaged between 3 and 4 balls per second, depending on how well the ammo feeds. You get inconsistent spurts of heavy fire, followed by gaps.

The Caliburn is a spring-powered, pump-action, and magazine-fed blaster that is compatible with any N-Strike and Dart Zone magazines—including half-length dart mags and adapters. Though this gun has a good ammo velocity, the ranges vary from 30-60 feet. Unfortunately, with the way the ammo is designed, many of the shots will curve off or down after 20 feet or so. As we discussed early in the guide, there are two main factors that influence the power of a Nerf gun: FPS and the type of ammo that you are firing.Just like the Perses, this literal minigun shoots eight Rival Rounds per second at an insane 100 FPS!

Unlike the Siege, the Evolve doesn’t have slam-fire, which is one of the reasons it is further down this list. The exterior designs are similar, featuring clear hoppers on top, and rails around the hand guards. With the Pro MK-3, you get two types of darts—long darts for semi-auto precision and short darts for full-auto spray and pray! Both the short and long darts come with their own magazine. There are many power options with mostly come down to the choice of spring. There is one combo option at Frontline Foam that combines two springs with a 14″ Bras/Alu barrel to achieve up to 300 FPS! This naturally gets you some solid ranges of up to 100 ft, but not consistently. The max rate of fire is about 5-6 rounds per second, but that also depends on the hopper situation. Although the guns in the Hyper range fire high impact rounds please don’t try to mix and match your ammo with rounds from the Rival series. Hyper high impact rounds are actually about half the size of Rival ammo so, to avoid any disappointment (and jamming), don’t load your old Rival ammo into the integrated hoppers! Another blaster named after an epic Greek Titan god, the Nerf Rival Prometheus is a monstrous and heavy-hitting war machine! In fact, it is one of the biggest Nerf blasters on the market! For a powerful and accurate shot, you want to ideally use shorter darts that are more stable. Final Thoughts

Experience elite-level performance with the revolutionary Shellington Kirin bolt-action blaster, which is injection molded for amazing quality without the 3D printed look. This groundbreaking spring-powered blaster combines ejecting shells, detachable magazines, and ambidextrous options for intense, realistic foam dart battles. This blaster is pretty simple to prime, load, and fire. However, the Fuel has the same issues that all Hyper guns have so far in that the ammo will bind up in the hopper. Once you get used to it, it’s not bad, but you will have to occasionally shake the gun to help it feed correctly. It also includes two tactical rails for any Rival attachments—one under the front handle and another on the bottom of the gun. Semi-auto nerf blasters fire a single round every time you pull the trigger. In contrast, fully auto Nerf guns will continuously fire rounds until you release the trigger or run out of ammo. The benefit of automatic Nerf blasters is they typically hold more ammo and require no manual action on your part to fire—just point, pull the trigger, and spray!

The Most Powerful Nerf Guns

It’s an assault rifle blaster that includes a select-fire toggle—allowing you to swap between full-auto and semi-auto. In full auto, the Pro Mk-3 spews darts at 4 darts per second and with the right darts can reach speeds of 140 FPS.
