The conclusion to this duet was satisfying in every way. But I can’t deny that I wish there was more! K. Webster is the quintessential storyteller with an admirable ability to weave intricate tales. I loved the first book but struggled with how nonsensical the entire scheme was with multiple brothers pretending to be one person when they were so clearly bad at it and there was no need for them to be in different places at once for the most part. And it made no sense to have identical guys running around in same locations at once. Talk about suspicious. After the big reveal from the end of Triple Threat, Landry now knows who the Terror Triplets are... but they're not letting her or her sister go. The two on the run from their abusive, disgusting father, and the only safe space seems to be with Sully, Sparrow, and Scout. I loved how the dynamics have changed in this book, with Landry coming into herself and knowing she has the boys wrapped around her and her sisters fingers. You can truly see how much the boys adore her and would do anything for her.

All I wanted is for my little sister Della to be safe and happy. And maybe, in brief stolen moments, I dreamed of a happy ending for myself with a brown-eyed man. That hope has turned into sharp, bright fear. There’s only survival now. I’m the daughter of a controlling and cruel billionaire, so I understand about power. But I find myself fighting anyway. I find myself testing them. I have claws and I bite. I’m not going down without a fight. It’s like I have a death wish. Death Wish (Deception Duet, #2) by K. Webster – eBook Details Safety: well it’s a ménage so… but yes within the confines of their relationship, it’s her and them. Well, this did not go as I thought it would, but you obviously have to read it if you want to keep up with the Constantine/Morelli world, and it’s not a complete wash; I just think it would have done better with more development so therefor as a trilogy.I felt a bit lost at the beginning because I read Triple Threat about 100 books ago and though I remember the main plot, there were particulars I may have forgotten and this book just starts right in from the point the other left of without any explanation or review of what went on in the last book. Which is awesome if you are binging the books one after the other but not so much when you read them months apart. The pacing was also good (because the book wasn't longer than it needed to be), and the was enough angst, danger and worry to keep things interesting in between the naughty bits. The Story: After ending up at the apartment of the Mannford brothers. Landry finds out that the guy she thought she knew is in fact three identical twins. She realizes Scout is crazy, she doesn’t trust Sparrow at all, but she knows Sully will help with her sister.

the dad is so protective over laundry like crazy he always stalks her and its weird. i thought maybe he took laundry's virginity because i don't understand how she lost it when he monitors EVERYthing she does. i mean he doesn't even let her out of the house. so how did she lose her virginity? And now they have a problem, they are so competitive with each other, so how can they complete successful their uncle's mission?I never never never imagined a universe where I would be cheering for the triple terror of this triplets, the kings of villains to get their own HEA. Landry was the type of girl with both a fierce exterior and very soft overwhelming core. She could take on every terror Scout throws at her and also compliments Sparrow with his softness. Don't get me...all of these brother have their own devil inside but scout wins over all. He is such an intense character with so much darkness, I am so excited to see how the author develops his character, a tough job for sure. But still, my favorite is Scout...if you love dark romance then thus psycho is your next prince charming. Sully Mannford -made the best grades in school, makes better decisions than the other two brothers and is considered the “sweet” one. He’s frustrated with how the Morelli family controls him The book had a great storyline, it was romantic, super steamy, and I liked the fact that in this storyline the Mannford brothers were the “good” guys and Winston Constantine wasn’t. It shows how everything has two sides and that being a villain in someone else’s story doesn’t always mean a character has to be a villain in their own. Laundry has always had a tough life. She doesn't fear monsters. Not when she has to live with one. Not when she has to survive him everyday and save her little sister from him. So when she meets a new boy at school, something feels different. Every time she runs into it like he changes personality. He giv

I think this book wanted to be dramatic and emotional but also wanted to be erotic and the two didn't mesh so great. That aside, I did really like Landry and her triplets. I wish there had been more to their story or an extended epilogue.

I shouldn't have doubted K. Webster because Triple Threat was so good! It's a reverse harem romance with a heroine and three identical triplet heroes. The Mannford boys have grown up now and they're not as spoiled and bratty. Sparrow, Scout, and Sully kind of work for the mafia but all they want to do is escape so they can live their own lives. Their uncle gives them one last assignment before they can be free – dupe the daughter of a tech billionaire into believing they're one man and get close to her so they can find out her father's secrets. OMG WOW!!!! This is a very taboo read let me say that first but this is an amazing read also. The way K. Webster wrote this book was mind blowing. I could not put this book down. The plot was good. The SPICE OMG the Spice was hot! The Mannford triplets! 🫠🫠🫠🔥 Overall it was a good read and I would read again.
