About this deal

Inspired by the warm and mysterious lands, Khamrah is a luxurious and sophisticated fragrance that plays with the sweet and warm notes typical of the brand. An intriguing olfactory experience for a fragrance with a mysterious character and spicy undertones. Perfect for any event, from the most elegant to an evening with friends, it is sold at an absolutely affordable cost. Inspired by Spice Which begs the question: is it really worth it? Sadly, quite often a hype is nothing more than every social media channel copying someone else to stay somewhat relevant. So, am I bravely fighting the label-posse for naught? Why are you wearing a men's perfume? I'm asked that too often. Let's just get that nasty question out of the way first, shall we? First of all my mom wanted this perfume to herself because she is always disappointed by most perfumes and wanted to try something new. She bought this from an online store and while a bit skeptical she was pleasantly surprised. On her it has a nice boozy, sweet, cinnamon scent. It has a “filling” vibe to it, like eating a warm apple pie. It has impressive longevity and sillage.

Khamrah Lattafa Perfumes can also tell stories. For children, it's prepared tales about Aladdin, genies, magic, and flying carpets. For adults, it recites stories from One Thousand and One Nights, Nur-ad-din, the beautiful and brave Mariam, about the insidious courtiers, dangerous robbers and dizzying adventures...Even though the Angels didn't protest to sharing, Lattafa took its pyramid, extracted what they liked most, then doubled down on their own Middle Eastern twist and voila: a gorgeous brown liquid in beautiful bottle entered YouTube Frag-circles and everyone went a lil' cray-cray. (THX for that by the way. Not. I tested it júst after release, but had to wait for €€ to buy a full bottle. By the time I could, the hype had doubled the price here. Like many of us, I don't like the idea of copying fragrances. Or rather, attempts to copy because really good copies do not exist. No imitation of a popular fragrance, whether it be Lost Cherry Tom Ford (which I think is the record holder for the number of imitations and fakes)or Angels' Share By Kilian, or La Vie Est Belle Lancôme, will smell as good as the original. It just won't smell the same. There can be no replacement and the quest to find a cheaper dupe is meaningless. I have had this perfume in my house for a month now and it gets even more pleasant. I love how it gets more decadent as time goes, without the sweetness becoming too much. So many times I've seen a "homme" fragrance's pyramid and thought "Ehm, make the bottle 'girly' and it could easily become popular on the women shelves. Sweet scents haven't been just for the ladies in a long time, and if you look at Middle Eastern perfumes, where the majority is unisex to begin with, you'll see that the guy-fums maybe have a little more (w)oudh or spice, but not always. I personally think when it comes to perfumes they have the right majority-idea: everything is for everybody.

The Angels Share also smells very linear to me, while the Khamrah has a changing scent progression. While Khamrah unfolds and follows different steps in the pyramid it's in many ways pretty linear. The first whiffs are a good indication of what you'll keep. You'll just get a tad more sweetness from the very edible heart and a vanilla-warm-woody base to have both a longer lasting effect and depth. That spicy cinnamonroll/gingerbread opening stays with you - though in a more subdued way. I found myself using Khamrah regularly on those days when I especially crave comfort and serenity, alternating it with two other fragrances of personal pleasure: Dolcelisir L'Erbolario and Eau Lente Diptyque, about whichsomeday I will certainly write, although this is not a new fragrance.

And here we finally leave Angels' Share By Kilian to continue on the date route of Khamrah Lattafa Perfumes. First, Khamrah Lattafa Perfumes is not a copy of Angels' Share By Kilian and cannot replace it. Even if you don't like Angels' Share, you may well have fond feelings for Khamrah because it's so different. I own, by the way, the Angels' Share and can really not understand that many smell there a similarity. The Angels Share smells for me intensely hazelnut, woods and cognac and also the sillage is dominated by these notes.

Takodje ovaj parfem po meni nije preporucljiv u koriscenju za sporta, niti za mladje skolarce, vec za izlazak navece ili poslovne sastanke . Vanilla appears, bitter and strict, and then bitter-powdery tonka beans and salty-sweet myrrh follow.

Khamrah – Lattafa in detail

When I saw what the bottle of Khamrah Lattafa Perfumes looked like, I was stunned and disappointed, and I did not immediately decide to write about this fragrance.
