The Aqua Shift controller will be the first special edition Xbox controller to come with rubberised grips, each equipped with unique dual colour swirls. It's said to "feature a surreal, colour-shifting blue shimmer that you need to see to believe". The Aqua Shift Special Edition features some unique features that we haven’t seen on previous Xbox pads as of yet, including a color-shifting shimmer, and rubberized side grips with a dual-color swirl on every unit. You also get the textured grip on the triggers and bumpers, the hybrid D-pad and Bluetooth compatibility. Despite the Xbox Design Lab opening up again, a new controller has been unveiled sporting a beautiful aqua glossing, arriving on August 31. I used to like "reassuringly solid" controllers but I've learned over the years that they tend to strain the wrists over time with the way I hold controllers, while light controllers don't. Kinda wish the Elites had removable weights like Logitech gaming stuff. BAMozzy How different is the V2 from the V1? I loved the V1. I even have a spare (or 2?) I bought my X1X in part because I wanted the premium controller to go with it. The only down-side is it was much too heavy for my preferences, and that affects my wrists too easily at the angles I hold it.All I can say is that its a definite upgrade over the V1 and by far the most durable, most comfortable and 'best' controller I have owned - but whether its the 'best' for you, only you can answer...
