About this deal

Cutting the lawn continuously bit by bit on a daily basis means that you will be left with a greener and lusher lawn, but this is going to take a lot of power. Fortunately, the Gtech RLM50 has a handsome run time of up to 90 minutes meaning more can be done between charges. Of course, you will need to keep in mind that the type of lawn and its current condition will impact how long the mower will run for, but even at the worst end of the spectrum, you’ll get an hour out of it. Charging Station Perfect for medium and large gardens and equipped with the latest technology, is this new mower worth splurging on for your lawn?

It’s a shame that this mower doesn’t come with a roller. I feel that this is made up for by the quality of the incredibly precise cut. A good example of how T3 performs hands-on testing of cordless lawn mowers can be seen in our Stihl RMA 443 VC review. We have a clear methodology when reviewing products and mowers are no exception, with us first assembling and then using wireless lawn mowers to actually cut grass ourselves in a real world environment. The Gtech Cordless Lawnmower 2.0 has a single sided blade that helps to provide the efficient result and extended run times without compromising on the quality of the cut. Close to Edge Cutting As I found, some of the negative comments are due to the grass box being a bit fiddly to fit and some comment that it is too expensive compared to some of its competitors. What I really like about the Gtech Cordless Lawnmower 2.0 is the addition of a removable safety key that disables the lawnmower to help prevent accidental starting. This is a nice feature not found on similar cordless mowers that gives peace of mind around children. The BBC Code of Conduct for competitions can be found at bbc.com/editorialguidelines/guidance/code-of-conduct and all BBC magazines comply with the Code.

Of course this is open to interpretation so if you don’t fall under every single category then don’t worry I’m sure you’ll still love this product. It has loads of great features that I’m sure you make use of even if you’re not its perfect customer. With regard to the mono blade, I initially thought the same regarding the balance and vibrations, however I didn’t notice anything to worry about. When I was cutting the extremely long grass and the blade was somewhat covered with damp grass, you do notice a slight wobble as the mower starts up. As soon as it is up to speed there is no vibration. This new Gtech Cordless Lawnmower 2.0 is designed to replace the old Gtech Falcon CLM01. But is this mower any better than its predecessor? Well you are about to find out in this in-depth review. Also the power system is completely electric so it produces zero emissions and works extremely quietly. Which is quieter between the Gtech Cordless Lawnmower and the Flymo Mighti-Mo 300? Well there’s not much between them with both guaranteeing sound power level below 90dB. For more information please see table below.

The Bosch CityMower weighs just 9.9kg so it’s really easy to push around and carry between lawny sections. Crucially, it comes fitted with Bosch’s comfy Ergoflex handlebar system that is perfect for both righties and lefties. Metal blades are generally sharper and provide a cleaner cut to the grass blade, resulting in a neater, tidier and superior finish to your lawn and garden. The metal blades on the Gtech Cordless Lawnmower can be sharpened when needed, unlike plastic blades. When taking the Gtech out for a spin, you will need to turn the safety key 90-degree first to turn the mower on and adjust the cutting height according to the height of your lawn. This writer has been using this large 51cm cordless Cobra for two years and it’s a beast in every respect. The Cobra MX51S80V is equipped with an 80-volt brushless motor and it runs on two 40v 5Ah Li-ion batteries that just seem to last forever. In fact, after every first complete mow of my 200m² lawn, both batteries still show full power with all eight LEDs alight. Combined, the batteries should provide up to 92 minutes of cutting on a full charge.

User Reviews

Its cordless design gives you more freedom without an extension cord and it's comfortable to use with its dual handles. It's the ideal mower to choose if you're after a start and go model. Advantages & Disadvantages Of The Gtech CLM50 Another great feature of this mower is a visual battery gauge on the top of the mower/battery that can be seen through the clear visor; you would think this is standard with all cordless mowers, however, it’s not the case. Well done Gtech for including this! Setting up is beautifully easy thanks to a clear LCD control panel and a clear user interface. Moreover, with three mowing modes and seven cutting heights, you’re getting a great deal of versatility. But don’t assume that this is all that’s on offer, in my Gtech RLM50 review, I’m going to dive into the nitty gritty and help you get better acquainted with this new for 2021 robotic mower from Gtech.
