About this deal

Look at the illustrations of each crayon in the book – what is it about the face and the body of each crayon that puts across the emotion? Talk about how the drawings are quite simple, and yet we can still tell how each crayon is feeling. For instance, you might talk about how the beige crayon is bent over, with its arms drooped downwards and a frown on its face. What emotion does this body position and facial expression convey?

As the name suggests, Light Hot Pink is essentially a diluted, pastel version of hot pink. This color is probably what most people would picture when imagining a pale pink. There’s enough green and blue present to create just a hint of a cool undertone, but Light Hot Pink isn’t purple in the slightest.Lady is a dignified shade of pink that has a bit of a vintage look about it. It’s a little peachy, but it has much more red than Hit. It sits roughly between peach and mauve. Lady looks nice next to various shades of blue. If you’re looking for a quiet, cool shade of pink that’s very close to purple, Rose Quartz is a great shade. It’s named after a common stone that usually has a grayish-pink appearance. As you can see from its RGB value, Rose Quartz is more blue than most shades of pink. A string wraps around a bundle of envelopes, tying them together. The words "To: Duncan" appear in red crayon on the top envelope. The Definitive History of the Colors of Crayola Part 28 – More Specialty Changes for 1997". crayoncollecting.com . You can then discuss with your child why the Crayon might be feeling this emotion. Try to provide your child with some examples of times that you felt this emotion and ask them if they can also come up with any examples of their own (this will be easier for some of the emotions). Light pink is a soft, pale shade of pink traditionally dubbed a “little girl’s color.” It is a little darker and warmer in hue than pastel pink. Crepe is a warm, light to medium shade of pink similar to, but lighter than strawberry. Crepe is far more pink in hue than the off-white to yellowy-tan color generally associated with a crepe pastry. Because they are going to pretend to be the item, they need to write ‘as’ that character, using the first person. This means that they should use language such as ‘my’, ‘I’ and ‘me’ when writing their letter. They should also remember to use words such as ‘you’ and ‘your’ when referring to the owner of the item.In the story, Duncan normally uses his colours to colour things the ‘right’ colour. Talk with your children about what using the ‘right’ colour means. Do the children always colour their drawings in the ‘correct’ colour? If not, why do they sometimes choose to use a different colour? Known as "Flesh Tint" (1903–1949), "Flesh" (1949–1956, 1958–1962), and "Pink Beige" (1956–1958). In 2001, Crayola produced Gel FX Crayons. However, it did not contain any color names. Four of the colors are randomly included in the 96-count crayon box alongside four Metallic FX colors and are not included in the 152-count Ultimate Crayon Collection set. The hex triplets below are representative of the colors produced by the named crayons. This interestingly named color has a somewhat metallic look about it. It’s one of the pink shades named and used by Crayola. It first appeared in a set of colored pencils. Steel Pink is a great choice if you like magenta but would prefer something that’s a little darker and more subdued.
